This place is great. The people are attentive and knowledgable. You can rent practically anything. They always have what I am looking for (I am generally looking for hardware, basic fishing and garden stuff), and even so it is not one of these huge pllaes it takes all afternon just to get in and out of. I can get glass cut to size, sharpen blades, repair equipment. My other option nearby is Lowes where you wander forever in search of someone to help and most of them know even less than I do. Stores like this are harder and harder to find so I appreciate having this one nearby.

Always so helpful... with everything. From large equipment rentals (this is my go to place) to the spot for any hardware, diy projects and purchases. Staff is really knowledgeable, and always super helpful. Im a "project person," always with some major project or another going on. My partner and I have several small businesses and properties to maintain. This place is like my secret weapon for tackling the seemingly impossible. Its amazing what one can do with the right tools!

WAY too expensive. Im all about supporting my local guys, and they are really nice, but they charge so much for identical products that I am forced to shop at the Lowes down the street. I mean, I shopped there today for a certain item which was $14.96 at Lowes and $42.99 at the True Value. EXACT SAME ITEM. As much as I hated to do it, I went to Lowes instead.

They are super friendly and helpful. I needed a spring for my gardening clippers that fit and wouldnt be a hand workout, and the employee was so nice! If you want something they dont have in stock, theyll order it for you and you can come by in a couple of days and pick it up. They will help you any way they can.

This is one of the remaining hardware stores where salespeople will give you as much attention helping you find the proper sink washer as they would buying a big ticket item. I have been using them for years and they are routinely more helpful than the big box retailers.

Im a local Home Inspector and I like to refer my clients to this hardware store because of service. It is a hub of activity and a wealth of knowledge. If you want a 2X4 go to Lowes, If you NEED to fix something right go to True Value on Foley Rd.
