Good girls. No boys in Warren, they need at least one man to step up. Must be a pride thing? I think its this town, boys are afraid of the "cashier" title. But they will apply for a county prison guard pos. that pays much less, that im sure. And benefits arent guaranteed asap or ever. Those manager girls make a nice hrly rate, though i bet their hours arent a steady 40hrs all season. If only every regular customer knew those women work their tails off trying to please the unhappy people even when their own human error is involved, they are simply constantly moving and working and trying to improve. One girl (manager) runs the whole store (produce, meat, daily stocking, backup cashier, cleaning, and probably all the finances at closing time etc..) while typically one other person runs the register and multitasks any second they can get up to help the mngr... stock, clean, etc... On busier weeks and holidays the whole staff seems to be there keeping things in order. So it can seem hectic, but the speed and efficiency of the employees is phenomenal. The products are great, fantastic quality, fair prices. Produce is delicious, once in a while youll find something going bad just like any store or garden, lettuce is/was alive it will brown. Pick a fresh one. Dont make assumptions about the whole company by one brown cabbage the employee overlooked because they were busy with a customer or finding a product for someone. Meat is of great quality. Bread never has a short date, sometimes its marked down, even then it has a date of 4/5 days i believe. All of their employees work hard, and will make your experience refreshing. Some are more cheerful than others, but will engage you like a human being if the kindness is returned or recieved. Eye contact is a rare quality these days, so are smiles or grins. The public is brutal. Be kind, polite. Even if you have an issue the immoral and most rude comments have become norm. I know what the customer service people think when someone is making a big fuss. Itd make your dead relative blush.

A great variety of items for not much money. That about sums it up. Aldis is a grocery store thats a little smaller than most, but still large enough to offer the basics at a reasonable price, as well as some high-quality exotic foods, also for a reasonable price. If the store has one failing, its the produce section: If youre going to buy fruit and vegetables here, be prepared to use them straight away, as they probably wont last long even in refrigeration. Otherwise, bon appetit!
