A wonderful new addition to Stroudsburg. Instead of going to Starbucks every day due to a lack of other appropriate options, I began patronizing this fine establishment over the summer. I was happy with my experience there. I will attempt to compare honestly the differences better and worse to Starbucks. First and foremost, I need the internet when I go to a coffeshop and Cafe Duet crushes Starbucks lousy internet speed and horrible logon routine. I can actually check my e-mail, get online, and even watch a youtube video without any sluggish speed or dropped connection. The coffee they serve is from a west coast company called Stumptown Coffee Roasters, which has its headquarters located on the lovely waterfront of Portland, Oregon. What I like is that the owners serve and prepare each cup of coffee to ensure each cup is properly crafted. They serve a full range of coffee and espresso beverages. The space is definitely smaller in size than Starbucks and seats less. But in this case less, is more. The service is outstanding and the food is also cooked on premises. It is made fresh daily and made to order. The food at Starbucks, although its not bad, is much less enjoyable than a proper cooked, not microwaved, meal. So, I give this Coffee shop 2 tech thumbs up, and recommend that no one go there so me and friends can have the place all to ourselves. Just kidding. Go and enjoy the place. Just try to keep the conversations to a minimum volume and clean up your messes. I had to clean up after a lovely young couple today, who looked much more mature than a child who might leave a mess for their Mother to clean. LOVE IT!!!

I was glad I moved to Bethlehem in May until I heard this place opened up a couple of months ago. I finally got to try it today when I was up in Stroudsburg for a couple hours. And, just as I expected, it was delicious and the decor was perfect. Everything about this place is perfect and just what a cafe/coffee shop should be and more. A true gem for sure. Stroudsburg is lucky to have Cafe Duet, though I doubt Stroudsburg is sophisticated enough to truly know what it has with this place. Hopefully Cafe Duet can help change that a bit. If you dont know about Stumptown Coffee you should check it out. All the way from Portland, OR, the coffee is truly the best. I knew Cafe Duet would be good as soon as I heard they served it. If I still lived in Stroudsburg, this is just the place Id want to take my laptop to relax and work for a few hours. We had lunch on the patio today, sharing the salad of the day, egg salad over a bed of crisp romaine. Gorgeous day. Gorgeous, cozy, private patio. You feel like youre in a better place as soon as you step in the door. The back room and front counter are equally inviting. Ive only recently been in one other coffee shop like this, The West, in Williamsburg (Brooklyn). This place is beyond perfect, if thats even possible, and clearly, it must be. Go there and enjoy.

Went two years ago for a family vacation and it was a treat. Returning this summer, I was so pleased that the quality and ambiance were the same if not better than remebered. I even made a final stop on our last morning out of town! I can endorse the ambiance, the staff, and the fare. Tried and enjoyed their single origin, americano, avocado toast with macadamia nuts (subtle flavors), the breakfast sandwich (with chorizo!). The back patio offers most pleasant little nooks. It didnt hurt that we had perfect weather. One of the chefs brought out a freshly baked cranberry pistaccio biscotti for our group. Lands, it was delish! Coffee shop is in a narrow row house, wonderfully appointed with really interesting wrought iron leg tables, compelling, nuanced art, a record player serenading the small but effective coffee counter. Always want to give a shout out for a smart bathroom with hooks and a shelf. Little things that just make life better. All around a win and wish it was closer for more frequent visits.

If youve ever wanted a great coffee spot in the Poconos, look no further. Cafe Duet is serving amazing coffee drinks made from Stumptown beans. The espresso is silky smooth and full of flavor, I challenge anyone in the commonwealth to top it. Besides this they have great baked goods, rotating soups and salads, and fresh juices. A chill back room and a beautiful outdoor patio seal the deal. Theres even curated vinyl spinning all day! Run by a young family looking to make Stroudsburg more awesome for the future. Show your support!

Amazing! Venue and atmosphere are incredible! Enjoy a nice homey type rustic feel inside with sanded wood walls and cute little chairs or go out and enjoy Gods nature by eating outside! Quick service too because when you walk in, theres a menu on the wall and you order then you sit. I had the breakfast sandwich and it was to die for! It was a fried egg, Spanish sausage, arugula, melted cheese, and a chipotle mayo all on a nice brioche bun!!! So yummy! Ill have to go back to try the pastries! Hmm... Cannot wait!

Simply the best coffee in the Poconos, and a much needed addition to Stroudsburgs restaurant scene. The cafe is owned by a warm and friendly young couple, who are truly committed to sourcing only the best gourmet coffee beans from various locations in South America. This new cafe on Courthouse Square provides a rotating selection of soups, salads, and fresh baked goods and has a rustic but vibrant atmosphere that is both great for meeting with friends and for study or work.

Owned by the best people in the world, and serving the best coffee in Stroudsburg (probably in PA). Great music inside if its raining, fantastic outdoor patio for when its nice. Starbucks will be leaving downtown soon. If you like REAL coffee and REAL customer service theres no other place to go. And you might see an adorable baby. Please do yourself a favor and check this beautiful place out.

Great little coffee shop! We stopped in on our honeymoon for a quick bite and some coffee. My wife got some breakfast scone with cheese and some kind of ham, it was delicious! I got a big Ol sandwich tied up with string and paper; very old fashioned, very cool. All the while listening to a record player playing something retro. Awesome little place.

Delicious, fresh and healthy food. Beautiful quiet back yard for outdoor lovers. The green ice tea is amazing - flavorful, not bitter at all and all NATURAL without any added sugar or other crap - sorry Starbucks and any other chain, but you guys suck! Sandwiches, baked goods, everything here is really great!!!! Big love!
