My son and I visited Main Line Hobbies for the 2nd time since incident on December 10, 2016 on May 27, 2017. The first time we came back since the incident on December 10, 2016 was on April 7, 2017 all because of my son and how nice the property manager was in how she handled my complaint from December 10, 2016 that I reluctantly went inside. The older male employee was very nice for a change. I even sarcastically said, "My son loves this store!" My son does love the store but I was eager to hear his response. The male employee did not disappoint by saying, "Oh wow I thought no one liked it here!" He said this with a big smile being more sarcastic than me. I wasnt sure at that moment if he knew if I was the one who complained about the store or not. It was suspicious. As my son and I came into the store on May 27, 2017 I made eye contact and said hello to both of the male employees behind the counter in the pic I took after I left the store. They both looked at each other first and then reluctantly and enthusiastically replied in sync saying, "Hi." I automatically felt the unwelcoming vibe I felt on December 10, 2016. My son began his search at his favorite car spot which is the only reason why I came back. After the last incident on December 10, 2016 my son was so hurt when I told him we couldnt go inside that store because I had issues with the employees. My son has autism and he is very much into vehicles, drawing, and electronics. As my son was searching for a truck he kept walking around in circles looking through the aisles. My son finally found a red Corvette he liked but I wanted to get my son another one as one of his graduation presents so I told my son that I believed he already had a big red Corvette. I did that so I could surprise him in a few weeks. The male employees in the store were listening to our conversation and looked at my son and I with the same look they had when we arrived in the store while snickering. I guess they were probably thinking my son really didnt have that at home or they thought I told that to my son because I couldnt afford a $20- $30 car. I told my son to look at one of the cars at the counter. He went back over to the counter and found a BMW truck. As my son and I stood at the counter while he searched for a vehicle, a group of Caucasian females walk into the store and both of the male employees shouted, "Hello!" I was so shocked and appalled that I said loudly to my son, "Wow thats interesting! Thats amazing!" Yes my son and I are African-American. Of course both employees looked at each other with the same looks they gave my son and I when we entered the store while snickering. They knew what they were doing. My son and I moved down to the middle of the counter to pay for his truck. The younger male employee asks, "Just one?" I said, "Yes just one." The male employee whose initials are "lk" gave us the total and says, "Your total is $7.49 plus tax." My son says, "Tax?" I replied to him repeatedly saying, "Yes tax!" As I stated previously my son has autism which Im sure the employees were not aware of and is probably part of the reason they kept staring at us this time around. As my son and I were leaving to head out I told my son we have to leave so we can catch the Guardians of the Galaxy movie showing for 1:45 pm. I could of sworn I heard the older employee who kept staring at my son and I as we were leaving mumble, "Yes please go." I was such in a rush to leave but that comment really stuck out but I knew I was going to send another email to the property manager anyway so I told myself Im not going to ruin time with my son for racist employees at Main Line Hobbies. Im sorry they are just plain a**holes. *I sent a complaint to the property manager of Plymouth Meeting Mall on December 11, 2016 and May 28, 2017 about Main Line Hobbies. You can see my complaint from December 10, 2016 under Main Line Hobbies Google page.

We were in town today from Richmond, VA. We went to the Plymouth Meeting Mall specifically to go to the Legoland Discovery Center there. After the Lego place, we went to Uncanny and The Rock Shop for a bit. Both were pretty awesome. Our son did the thing where you ride the electric scooter type animals. It was $7 for 10 minutes. I thought it looked boring, but he loved it. There were other kids too that seemed very happy, so this is a hit with the kiddos apparently. They have a beautiful 2 tier carousel there too. It has horses, benches, swings and spinning teacups. My son and I both chose horses on the second tier first. The ride lasted about 3 or 4 minutes and it was $3 per person per ride. I think that is more than fair and well worth it. The second go round my son rode by himself and did the spinning teacups. He LOVED it! He got very dizzy and a little nauseous, but apparently that was his goal because he was laughing the whole time. We ate there. Grabbed a drink at Auntie Annes and the staff were so incredibly rude I imagine that I mustve offended them in a past life somehow. My son got a sub from Subway and the girl there was not pleasant but not rude and the food was average Subway. Hubby and I got pizza and Stromboli from the pizza counter by the Subway. The Stromboli was a bit dry, but had good flavor. We were in NYC just a few weeks ago and the pizza I had at this place was very close to what we had in the city. It was delicious! The mall had lots of closed stores so it wasnt busy which was nice for us. We would go back and visit again but will stay away from the nasty folks up at Auntie Annes!

Good for Specifics, but not really a destination. PM Mall has several good stores for specific needs. It has all four major phone carriers steps from one another -- very convenient if shopping for phones and/or plans. It has Boscovs, a true gem of a bargain retail store. And it has many quick eating venues and other shops that make this a quick and walkable mall. For games, theres Dave & Busters, if thats your thing, or a way to distract your children. Some recent events have slightly diminished the utility of the mall, such as the closing of Macys and Uncle Julios, but Im looking forward to how they will bounce back. The last time they lost a chunk of stores they turned them into a medical block which is an interesting use of mall space. Speaking of interesting mall space usage, where else can you go to Church at the Mall?! Outside of the mall are many shops and restaurants that provide further shopping or eating experiences, such as PF Changs, Redstone, Benihana, and California Pizza Kitchen. Finally, the Whole Foods market here is one of the largest on the East Coast. This isnt the place to go to wander really, but for specific needs and convenience, I like this mall 100 times better than KOP.
