When me and my wife took our time to find what we thought was the “right” powered reclining couch, we were apparently wasting our time. We went with La Z Boy thinking we were getting a well built and supported piece of furniture. We bought several pieces. But now we’re beginning to regret it. We were just moving to a new house and all of our goods, furniture and appliances were arriving when the La Z Boy furniture arrived. So the fact that the couch had apparently been damaged to some extent was over looked for a few weeks because we both had to leave town. When we finally discovered it and that the power mechanism was malfunctioning, my wife reported it to the store who said they’d look into it. We finally had to call customer support ourselves. We waited for weeks for them to send a contractor to look at it. He wanted my wife, who has had recent back surgery to help him move the couch. He looked at it and said that he’d turn in what he found to the customer support. Then after another week of hearing nothing, I contacted the customer service. They said that they guess they better order the parts then. I argued that what I bought was supposed to be new and in working condition and not broken and waiting for repair. I felt, and still feel like, the couch should be replaced. No one has even sat on it for a total of an hour over the few months that it has been sitting here. Customer support said the store would need to authorize replacement. I asked them to have the manager call me, which he never did. He called my wife and gave us the same line as customer support that we should have tested it thoroughly when it arrived and now it’s too late to have it replaced. But he did say that a replacement could be authorized by customer support. He told her that he’d have them send another repair person because the other one should have never asked her to help move the furniture. So, here we are, with a virtually unused broken piece of furniture, not knowing when or if we’ll have it fixed and both customer support, and the store manager, saying the other party can authorize a replacement. I’ll never consider, or recommend, La Z Boy again unless they make this right in a hurry. Oh, and the construction using OSB type particle board is rather flimsy too.

Furniture delivered is of poor quality in manufacturing and company refuses to take appropriate action and keep sending in inexperienced technicians who either dont know what to do or know that the problem is serious and they can not voice it due to fear of repercussions. I will not buy from this store any more. The customer service dept called Comfort Care ( very uncomfortable care) keeps delaying, promising, not fixing the issues, sends in tech for an hour while he need a whole to fix and then he leaves. Seat cushion poorly filled causing lots wrinkles in leather, reclining mechanism failing. Store managers unable to help and keep redirecting to service dept. Store was contacted within 48 hours of delivery and we were told it takes a week or so for cushions to expand due to shipping. no luck Be careful as all the promises made by the sales person dont mean anything as S/He is there to sell and collect commission and then S/he is helpless.

I realize quality USA made furniture costs more and I was expecting to pay that premium when we went in. However this place is more like dealing with used car salesmen, my wife talked to one person earlier in the day about a couch got a price with a sale discount note it was still over the sticker price considerably. I came back with her later that day to check out the couch and we were going to order it. We ended up talking to a different sales person who completely changed the price and added a bunch of extra costs even after we gave them the written quote from earlier that day. Needless to say the already high advertised price needs about 25 percent added to it = we will be going somewhere else.

Purchased a lift recliner, picked my fabric to match the love seat I also purchased. When delivered it didnt work, had to send a repairman out a week later. Was told it would take 10 minutes. Now I was told it needs a new computer, another week!!!!!! I bought this because of health issues and Im in trouble. The solution given me was earlier have someone come out to the store and give us a part to put on. They would give me a loner chair but we would have to pick it up. Now Im waiting to see what they can do, cannot deliver a loner chair until Saturday. I will NEVER buy from Lazy Boy again, and by word of mouth and Face Book I will try to protect others from being made a fool of.

Spent almost $2000 on two recliners. In less than a year the color began to come off in one spot on one of the two recliners. Called their customer service only to be told the one year warranty on the leather doesnt cover color. If not the color then what?? If you are considering Lazy-Boy in Robinson..... RUN AWAY NOW! They do not stand behind their products.

Purchased furniture for our ensuite in our master from Lay Z Boy. Just one year later. Its chairs and ottoman look worn to the point of being 15+ years old. They started to pile and look horrid after only 6 months with very little use. They quality is not what it use to be. They were not cheap either. Will no longer purchase this brand.
