Cats run wild. Just be ready for them to sprint between your feet or be found lounging on some books. But, if theres one used bookstore you go to in the city, its this one. $1 mass market paperbacks, $2 paperbacks, $3 hardcovers. Those prices are ridiculous. The same books (literally) at the book trader cost my 8-10 bucks each. Its a shame I found the book trader before the book corner. Im happy to have helped support both book stores, but my pocketbook would have been happy just going to the book corner.

Unequivocally the very best bookstore (my top pick) in Philadelphia based on the vivid collection of books, unparalleled prices, genuine & impeccable customer service, great ambience and of course the company of lovely cats. I would have given more than 5 stars if I could. You guys are magnificent and a great asset to the community. Keep up the great work.

I love this place! It has a huge selection- better than most chain bookstores Ive been in recently. I believe its $1 for mass market paperbacks, $2 for other paperbacks, and $3 for hardcovers. Check it out.

I try to go at least 3xs a week on my lunch break....all the books are $3, $2, & $1 its a GREAT FEELING TO KNOW U CAN AFFORD ANYTHING IN THE STORE... Plus they sell vintage records for 25cents!!!!!

Cute little second hand bookstore. Almost all the books are $3 and they have a large variety of cooking, travel and fiction books and even a small corner of comic books and manga.
