Since this is the closest hardware store to my house AND is along my route home from work, I often find myself stopping in when I need odds-and-ends for various home improvement projects. Im amazed at just how much stuff they manage to squeeze into this store! Prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and unless Im looking for something particularly obscure they always seem to have what I need.

I purchased a gallon of deck stain which the store tinted per my instructions. I disliked my original selection and purchased a 2nd gallon trying another tint which, again, was a poor selection on my part. I returned and asked the store to simply add some additional tint to darken my selection and they refused. Result: I wasted about $90 and the store lost one customer.

Knowledgable group, always friendly and helpful. Prices are OK, "sometimes" slightly above some Home Center Store prices but never by much. They also have a large and varied inventory. Generally the savings in fuel, and convenience completely makes up for it. I also prefer the idea of working with a locally owned franchise to BIG CORPORATE.
