I had a very poor experience at Home Depot Retail store in King of Prussia Pennsylvania. My girlfriend and I went to the store on Monday 5/29/17 around 2PM to look at lawn equipment and to buy two toilets and installation. While I was looking at lawn mowers my girlfriend went to the toilet section and waited for 20 minutes and nobody offered any help. She asked someone for help and they sent an associate over 15 minutes later. Once the associate arrived, my girlfriend asked how much it would cost to install two toilets. The associates first questions was, "is your husband here today?". What kind of question is that? What does it matter whether she is married or her husband is around or not? He has no right to ask that personal question. He then recommended to her the MOST expensive toilet on display which cost $350, and said that it included all the parts a plumber needed to install the toilet and that the cheaper toilets did not include all the parts needed to install. Then my girlfriend pointed out a cheaper toilet for $150 that stated right on the box it included all the same parts that the more expensive $350 toilet included. She then asked the sales associate what parts that the $150 toilet was missing that the $350 toilet had. The associate then said that he didnt know and she would have to ask a plumber. Basically he was caught in his lie saying the that the $350 toilet included more installation parts than the $150 toilet yet he couldnt tell her what those parts were. Either way we are extremely disappointed with unprofessional service provided by this store associate. We will not be returning to this store and want to make everyone aware of the type of sales people that work here.

This location is good if youre in a hurry and dont have time to go to Lowes, but Im honestly not sure how this place can be profitable. The store has all of the basics, but its not well organized and good luck finding what you need. The team members seem happy and willing to help, but their execution is horrible. I recently went in to purchase an item that I found online. I asked a team member for assistance locating the item and after 20 minutes or so they told me that they didnt have it in stock. I did a little looking around on my own and found what i was looking for (along with four more of the same item). During a different visit inquired about patio paver delivery with two different team members and neither one could provide any meaningful detail; i ended up buying the supplies at Lowes.

This place is a disappointment. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 10 minutes to the store on Trooper Road if you have to. If youre standing around for 20 minutes and confused and looking for someone, I guarantee you wont find a sales associate anywhere around. If youre trying to get through the store quickly, you get someone new asking you for help every other minute. I went to buy a riding mower a couple weeks back... the sales associate out front had a stuck-up attitude and turned me off. I guess he wanted me to go to one of their competitors (in nearby Oaks) to find (and buy) that better mower for $300 less. Today I went to buy paver bricks. Apparently the in-store price is 26% percent higher than the online price. I walked out. Im done with this store.

horrible experience with Jenn from Flooring and Andrew the manager. They refused to match the price of hardwood flooring from home Depot in Plymouth meeting even though i had showed them the receipt from the other store. i was nearly finished the job and needed more flooring. Plymouth meeting was sold out. So i drove to king of prussia where i got Zero costumer service. waste of time driving around. do yourself a favor and go to west norriton or some where else just visited the West Norriton Home depot. they were very helpful. they sold me the flooring at the price I paid earlier today at Plymouth meeting home Depot. if you need flooring or for that matter costumer service I suggest going to West Norriton home Depot and avoiding the king of prussia

Happily surprised by customer service. I happened to be near this Home Depot rather than the Lowes I usually visit, and stopped in despite the reviews mentioning dismal customer service. My experience was the total opposite of those reviews --- I was met at the door by someone who directed me to the aisles I needed, a later question was answered quickly by the customer service desk, and an employee I met in the aisle when looking for something was also very helpful (I had a lot of questions, as I dont usually shop there). The one down side was that they were (on 1/31) already sold out of several fireplace-related items such as log racks; this wasnt too surprising, though, given that the relevant shopping season is mostly past.

Being a contractor I frequent hone depots across the state and even in surrounding areas. This home depot is probably the worst Ive ever been to. The floor staff is so disoriented and incompetent that when you ask them a question they have the same blank stare an untrained puppy has while giving it a foreign command. The pro desk undoubtedly hired cut rate cashiers that have little to no knowledge on building materials or services offered by every other home depot in the country such as custom built roofing trusses. Overall I would say shopping at a local lumber provider, specialty store, or hardware store is worth the extra money after accounting for the frustration and loss if time aquiated with this store.

When I go to Home Depot, I dont expect good service but go anyway because of their prices and their stock. This branch, however, should be avoided. I went to the appliance section last week, and the representative was uninterested, and gave me information I had already found on the web. He handed me a printout of the exact same page I took to the store with me. Today, I called to ask if they had Rustoleum spray paint in a particular color--nothing out of the ordinary--and was put on hold for 10 minutes and then the line was disconnected. The same query to another branch produced a prompt response. I think this branch is badly run and seems to have a generally apathetic staff.

This morning, I wanted to rent a carpet cleaner for a new house I just bought. My local Home Depot doesnt have a tool rental place, so I got up at 6:15 so I could make it to the one in the next town over by 7:00. The man at the counter was really nice and helpful, but when it came time to pay, they did not want to take my cash. Only a credit or debit card would be accepted. Store policy. So I wasted a lot of time and gas, only to not get what I came for. And I was gonna rent a lot of stuff there too. Home Depot, you just lost a lot of business.

Never order online here!!! First I waited for my order to be "confirmed". After waiting for an hour, it was never confirmed. I visited the store to pick up the item and they claimed the order had never been received. After picking the items up personally and buying them at the store, I called customer care to cancel the order. They then told me to go to the store to cancel it... The store never could find the order. After sitting on hold for 30 min... The customer rep said the order was canceled. Then 5 hrs later, my credit card was charged.
