I bought some items from Monroeville PA store couple of weeks ago for my friend. Unfortunately, my friend wanted a different brand of make up, and when I went to the store to return them (the items were all unopened) and I got a completely different treatment than when I went to buy the items. It was a very very unpleasant experience for me. The cashier asked me if I have used the products or not with a slight disgust to touch it- even though she could clearly see the items still sealed with the transparent plastics it comes in. I always bought my cosmetics online, or at target or just drug stores - but my co worker convinced me to start shopping at Ulta, and I have not been there too many times, but after todays experience, I am going back to shopping online and Target. Not only the attitude of your employees were terrible but the makeup aisles are filthy. I understand that there are "test products" around for customers to try them, and trying them will certainly make a mess. And every time I went there, the sections were full of make up stains and its gross. If I am expected to get an attitude for returning some items, at least I want the store to be spotless. Now I wonder how she would have reacted if I actually opened the products and did not like- and went to ask for refund. Needless to say, you are certainly losing a customer, and I will highly encourage my friends to not go to any Ulta locations.

I typically purchase online, but I needed To make a return so I decided to just return in store (Monroeville, PA). First the one cashier couldnt even do the return for me so I had to wait for the manager who came up and acted like I was interrupting her day. Now keep in mind I had never returned to Ulta before so I had what I thought would be sufficient, the products to be returned and the slips from my order (these have barcode scanners for each item listed). Bottom line, thats not the case and now I know. This manager, lacked the ability to communicate effectively and was impatient , rude, and to be honest didnt seem like shed done an online return before (not sure how you become management without knowing how to do returns, etc..) It ended up being a miserable experience and I dread ever having to go to that store in person again.

Awful awful experience. Made an appointment only to find out UPON ARRIVAL they had "no time" to shampoo or condition but only a dry cut (not even sprayed with water), before rushing me out the door to get to their next appointment then charge full price $31 for the "service". Im disappointed in myself for even coming here. Im disapponted that I chose to PAY to be rushed around for what I thought would be a pleasant experience. I would have had a better experience at SuperCuts... Which, coincidentally, is where Im headed now to fix the disaster that Ulta gave me. My hair looks ridiculous right now... Uneven, fluffy, and chomped up like someone cut it with hedge trimmers. Do not go to Ulta Monroeville EVER.

My wife spends all kinds of money on ridiculously expensive hair care products at this location. On Tuesday she was treated very poorly by her cashier. The Ulta employee seemed to harbor some sort of resentment that my wife was shopping there or checking out at her register. Eye rolling, not speaking to her (IE hi did you find everything you need or have a nice day... Thanks for handing us a 100 bucks... SOMETHING). Hopefully management provides some training or at least coaches its employees. Shes expressed that her last three visits have been uncomfortable with the employees. Shes not going back and will work thru Amazon or the Ross location.

I am generally an Ulta fan but Im not very found of this location. The store is dirty and often unstocked, especially in the drug store brand section. There is a lip liner I use and every time I go to get it at this Ulta it isnt there and I end up having to go to CVS to get it. If the products arent stocked then there are products in the wrong slots and you have to dig to find what you want. I have also found that many of the products have broken seals on them or the ones that arent sealed on the outside have the seal on the inside broken and the product looks like its been used.

This is not my 1st time with ulta where I have had a bad experience!!! The staff are very rude and not will to help. I went to the checkout after seeing this lady(staff) give attitude to another customer, she didnt say a word until she wanted my number for the system and I politely say no thank she proceeds by get a worst attitude. Needless to say I WONT be going back

Its a great place to shop for hair and make-up. Im only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the staff is sometimes hit or miss when it comes to being helpful. Most of the time they will greet you and offer to assist you, but there have been times where they seemed to actively avoid making eye contact or presenting themselves as available to help.

Went to the salon for a haircut. Nothing fancy just a couple inches off and some disconnected layers. My stylist was very nice but he left a 2 inch difference between the back and front of my hair. Bottom line is dont pull the front sections back when you are cutting. Im just bummed that I will be correcting someone elses mistake.

I love shopping at Ulta but have been very disappointed in the Monroeville store! Its not very clean! The floors are dirty and could use a good cleaning! Im not one to complain but every time I go to this store, its a mess! Hopefully, this review will help improve the cleansiness of this store!

Employees who are working in the Ulta store in Monroeville Mall have bad attitude no customer service experience. They are very rude and helpless. Will never go to this store again . Unpleasant experience.

I opened my membership there in 2015, and an employee there now has her name showing up in MY email. I had customer service open an investigation for fraud and identity theft, and I hope it is resolved.

This Ulta is a little smaller than others Ive been to but they still have a great in store selection. They have a Benefit bar and a salon. The employees were all pleasant.
