Bad experience and doubt well be back. My wife and I frequented the Greensburg location where we purchased many firearms, accessories and apparel. We came to this location due to size and selection of merchandise. Stopped with the intent of buying a new firearm and two pair of shoes. After standing at the firearms counter for ten minutes as associates chatted with each other, we were told we would have help shortly. Ten minutes later we were greeted by a man that acted as if we were bothering him. I was between two different firearms, both common, and asked for a bit of advice to help with the decision. He said "I dont know much about these and we dont sell many of this brand." Funny, didnt realize Springfield was such a rare brand of firearm. They didnt have what I wanted and couldve ordered it, however after that experience I refuse to spend my money in that establishment in a firearm. On the way out we stopped to purchase shoes. The associate was pleasant but getting him to check on sizing was like pulling teeth. I basically said "Please check on ANY size 13 in ANY of these brands please." He acted as if that was a rare size, eventually coming back with two shoes out of, literally, an entire section of the wall. Very dissappointing experience, and I own a retail store! Im understanding for the most part, but this was just terrible customer service.

Bought a gun here from an extremely helpful associate. The only reason for the 3 stars is because I stood there for over 15 minutes as two other associates chatted with one customer and didnt feel obliged to help me. The third associate saw me and helped me because he saw I want being helped and after he rung up the customer he had been helping, came to tend to me. The store is beautiful and was just opened in the last couple months. Great prices and selection of guns and outdoor products. AND...they have a huge section off to the left inside the store that is clearance marked that I bought several shirts and pants at killer deals!

I drove an hour to get to the Gander Mountain in Monroeville because all the other stores were shout down. Here is what I found when I got there. Gander mt. is an over priced under staffed clothing store.They had a lot of guns but 20 of the same guns is not very impressive. The fishing section was very small ! And there were only four people working in the whole store. I wish I could ask for gas money because going to gander mt. was a big wast of time and gas!

This store is apparently going out of business, its not designed well at all I can see why. The sale the liquidation sale is much to speak of & they advertise they are getting new stuff daily, its just slightly odd. I asked a sales girl how much something was & she just responded "a percentage off" didnt really off up any more help than that.

Nice, brand new, store. Staff was friendly and helpful. Camping gear selection was fun to browse, but like most big-box stores, its hard to beat online prices for niche hobby supplies. Still, I was able to pick up some last-minute dehydrated backpacking meals for a big trip. This saved the day when my online order arrived late.

I am really happy that a branch opened in monroeville! Super convenient. I have purchased two firearms here and I am really satisfied with everything. The associates were helpful and informative. The credit card and insurance policies offered are also great. Definitely my go-to outdoors store.

Truely a shame that this company got bought out. I love these stores. Good news though....this location will be there liquidation center. So all the stock that doesnt get sold at the other locations will be sent here. This location will remain open until sept.

Live that they have layaway for their guns. Makes it possible for someone on a limited income to purchase one. Very competitive pricing. Good pricing on ammo. Great selection in hunting, fishing and camping. Look forward to going back.

All gander mountain stores went down hill since the owners wife got involved and took the mounts off the walls a few years ago. The employees try their best with what they have. The employees earned u the extra star.

Huge Gander Mountain. This Ive had everything you could possibly need and want guy fishing, hiking, camping, shooting (both sport and home/personal defense) and more. Employees are extremely nice and helpful.

High prices employees need customer service and courtesy training and they need to stop sleeping people with handgun muzzles when showing guns to customers that is unacceptable even with trigger locks

I know they are going out of business, but 90% of their merchandise is clothes. Maybe thats why they are going out of business - too many clothes, not enough gear. Very expensive, even with the sale
