If I could give this less than one star, believe me when I say I would....not that I would hold Kmart to the same expectations as I would hold Target or even Wal-Mart to, but after being there tonight, you couldnt even pay me enough to shop there. Its almost not even worth writing a review. HOWEVER, I am doing so because SOMEBODY needs to be held accountable...So, to the "manager" (Im assuming she was a supervisor of sorts) lady with the frizzy hair and the stature of a grizzly bear sporting a horrendous floral shirt with an uncanny resemblance to my grandmothers table cloth; YOU maam, should be ashamed of yourself for the way you speak to your employees! Never mind the fact that you did so in front of a range of customers, but the audacity to speak to an employee like that? No wonder your store is (and always will be) understaffed. Youre lucky that employee of yours has an immense amount of patience because I was honestly waiting for her to swing a good one on you and mount you above her fireplace with her other collections of wild animals. It took everything I had in me not to say something to you, but see, that wouldnt change anything. So maybe if everyone knows how horrible you are to your staff, maybe you will think twice next time and change your attitude....and hairstyle (the 80s wants it back), and give poor Hillary her pants suit back.

Had a layaway there for the 1st time in 10 I put a layaway down. It will be the last too. Just like 10 yrs ago, they lost my layaway. I had to wait for almost an hour until the lady working it actually asked me if I wanted the items on my layaway or not. I just spent weeks making payments and then an hour waiting for these items, yes I want the items. She proceeded to go out into the store to pull the items they lost. An hour later, she showed back up with the items. Not once did I see a manager or offered to speak to a manager. I called their complaint line and it was worthless. They stated they filed a complaint, but didnt take my name, number or any information. When I brought it up, they ignored me. I will NEVER shop Sears or Kmart again.

We like this store. They have a lot of good quality clothes at reasonable prices. The clothing section is well organized. Other departments seem a little cluttered and items more expensive than elsewhere but the clothes: theyre ok. Checkout lines are hit or miss -- the biggest problem seems to be the shop your way reward program where they send emails promising discounts that are pre-loaded onto our account then when we check out, theyre not there and a manager has to get involved, call SYW to verify and then apply the reward. Everyone whos helped us has always been friendly and we, overall, enjoy going to this store.

did layaway online, called the store to make sure my stuff was ready to go - it was. waited an hour for someone to get to the desk, after going to customer service and having them page twice. then another half hour to get another employee to pull my order down. not one apology, not even friendly really - they had my money so what would they care. couldve used the time and money at target or walmart. this was a trial with this layaway thing to see if it would work for a large order of baby stuff (due in may) - certainly not coming back again.
