You absolutely cannot find better quality for the price, whether you are at a local shop or with any of the online retailers. On top of the quality and price you get personal service with Dons knowledge and experience, which is upwards of 40 years (sorry Don, Im showing your age). I have been working with Don myself for 15+ years. We started with a stunning custom engagement ring and wedding band where he melted the gold from each of my parents wedding rings to create a gorgeous diamond wedding band that matched my engagement ring seamlessly. Since then I, as well as my mother and husband, have made many purchases from Don. He is a man of integrity and after so many years I have come to learn there is no point shopping anywhere else or even getting a price elsewhere. Being from Ohio, we drive 2+ hours to his shop - he is well worth the drive. But, I only make the drive if I need him to work on one of my pieces while I wait. Otherwise, I am completely comfortable working with Don via phone, email and mail to make purchases. He always steers me in the right direction including my most recent purchase of a pair of GIA-certified 2 ct. TW diamond studs. Not only did he guide me through the purchase process with his typical no-pressure style but he also helped me to significantly bring down the cost with a diamond stud trade-in from a prior purchase and paying me for gold that has sat in my jewelry box, unused, for over 20 years. I ended up with a spectacular set of diamond studs at a fraction of retail cost, plus Don gave me a set of fairly pricey backs, at no cost to me, that will keep me from losing an earring as Ive done in the past. I have a very special connection to Don, as my grandmother worked with him in the early 80s to design a gorgeous, custom ring with her 30-year anniversary "upgrade" diamond. Donald Duffy at My Diamond Jewelry Store displayed unsurpassed customer service and workmanship. I met Mr. Duffy as he was generously giving back to his community by showing support for the local school. While perusing his display cases, I knew I needed to have him help me with my five jewelry projects. Don was able to take pieces of treasured inherited jewelry and redesign them to look like pristine pieces from a display case. Don also was able to visualize and create a necklace setting for an odd-shaped coin that another jeweler wasn’t able to accomplish. I walked into My Diamond Jewelry Store a stranger, and walked out feeling like a friend. I felt that Don really cared about my projects, and wanted to do his best work for me. He is definitely informative, skilled and knowledgeable. I trusted him with my jewelry pieces. The best part was he completed all five of these projects in less than two weeks!

Don at My Diamond Jewelry Store is a very skilled precious metal craftsman. Don repaired an initialed signet ring, removing one letter and engraving a new one in its place. After polishing the ring looked new! He also repaired a filagree antique ring by pointing and replacing two small ruby stones that brought life back to this beautiful ring. Don was also able to exchange some old yellow gold charms which he traded with another jeweler for white gold. His friend, using a mold crafted a solid white gold cross and sent it to Don for finishing. Don polished the cross on one side and used a brushed finish on the back to be worn as two different crosses. Don is AMAZING! I recently lost a ring that I had bought from him at The Diamond Loft in 1996. Since I am in California, I tried calling the phone number that was on my receipt from the Diamond Loft, but it was disconnected. I did a Google search and found him in McMurray. I then e-mailed him a photo of the ring (that now had two bands added to it) and asked if he could remake it for me. He remembered the ring because he had only made two, and said yes, he could remake it - and improve it. I received the ring this week and it is PERFECT. I would recommend Don to anyone needing/wanting quality jewelry and plan on visiting him in the next couple of months to have a ring made for my husband.

Don was great the moment I walked through the door! I was looking to find someone to fix my wifes favorite ring and have a personable experience rather than the normal "we will send it off and it will be back in a month or so" line from chain jewelry stores, and boy did I find it! Don did great work and the ring looks better than the day I bought it! Fast service also, 2 days and the ring was done! I thought it was pretty awesome that he does everything there at his shop, so the comfort of not having my wifes ring ever leave the shop was great! All around top notch local jeweler who knows what hes doing in my book! I will definitely be back and likely never do business with any other jeweler.

I went to Don after searching the internet for someone local who wasnt a big box jewelry store, who had a good reputation and who did work in house. My husband and I took my engagement ring to be updated and Don was able to give me exactly what I wanted by combining two separate ring settings and he did it all in a matter of a few hours in the store! I love that nothing gets sent out to have work done and the store has a secured door. Both of those things made me feel extremely comfortable with leaving my ring at the store.
