I live about 45 minutes away from this shop. I pass other bow shops during my trip up to Weaknecht. Or I could drive south and visit one of the best know archery shops that I know of. I just like the feeling of Weaknechts Archery. These guys know their stuff. I was moving up from a 3 year old PSE to a Mathews. Nathan took the time to speak with me about the technology and terms I had heard about but didnt fully understand only archery hunting for 3 years. I have hunted all my life but am still new to archery. And just like most who try archery and like it. I am hooked. I wanted my gear to match my interest level. Considering I spend 85% of my hunting time in an archery stand vs the 3 or 4 days I can get out in deer rifle season. I was able to put together a package on a mathews creed xs that fit me perfectly. I am 5 7" and this bow was the ticket. On item I wanted was a single pin sight. I knew I wanted an HHA I went with the optimizer along with a qad rest and several other high quality accessories. I left the shop excited and equally unsure about my new purchase. Lets be honest I could have purchased two of my old bows for what I bought this one for. My first few trips to the range washed away any worries I could have had. The HHA sight requires a 20 yard and 60 sight in if you want to use the pre-printed yardage tapes. I knew this buying the sight. Knowing that with my older bow I practiced at 60 yards to hone my skills and kept an average 6 to 8 inch group. I was happy with that. I would never shoot at an animal at that distance. But it was fun to shoot at that range. I did a walk back sight in and after getting comfortable at 20 yard (60+ arrows) I walked back to 30, 40, 50, and then 60. After about 15 shots. I was about to keep it in a 4 inch circle on bag target my range has set up. I mean a 4-5 inch 3 shot group. Needless to say I am very excited about the 2014 archery season. If your a archer that wants to make a purchase from a family based shop and a purchase from knowledgeable people. Weaknecht is the place for you.

Our first time there was this weekend. Wife and I both left with bows. They are very customer oriented and friendly. The prices are great also. I hate saying it as I dont want the prices to rise, BUT with the level of service they have, they could raise their prices and lose no business, Im sure of it. The bow I got was setup perfectly, and shot perfect right out of the box. Couldnt be happier. Also, they do not try to sell products that arent needed. I havent shot in 6 years or so, but used to ALOT. My wife was purchasing her first compound bow, and hanging back with out kids just listening to them talk to her, they really offered sound advice, and did not try to over sell at all. I just pray they stay in business for a long time to come so as my kids grow up, and now that I am back into shooting bow, I have a great place to go.
