In the beginning of October our cats were having a slight flea problem even though they are inside cats. They were exposed from the homeless cats we help. So, we went to PetSmart, the same PetSmart we have generally used over 13 years. We were specifically looking for Frontline, because that is what we had used on homeless cats. They didnt have it, so all the had was Sentry Purrscriptions for Cats and Kittens. We used it on all three of our cats. The product said watch for any irritation with older cats, so we did with our one cat who as older. After a few hours he was having a poor reaction, so per the instructions, we rinsed the product off. The instructions they gave were incomplete, we found out later that you were supposed to use Dawn or Dove, we didnt know this so we used baby shampoo. Later that night Buttons died. The reason why I hold PetSmart partially responsible, is because despite hundreds of complaints, they continue to sell this product. Additionally, when asked, they claim they have never heard any complaints about the product, which must be false. We sent them all the complaints we found on the internet about this product and they never offered any refund for the poisonous product and they never offered us anything to help offset the over $700 veterinary bill we attained that night from taking our cats to the vet. When we filed a BBB complaint, they simply forwarded it to the company that makes the product and claimed that they have no responsibility. They claim that because it is EPA approved, they are not responsible. And the worst part about it is, they never acknowledged that there was even anything wrong with the product. And all these pets have lost their lives, some as young as two years old. I have been on numerous medications before and never thought that I would have to go on the internet to look up any of these medications I have been on, so the notion that I would think that a flea product I bought off the shelf at a place that I trusted would need to be googled first. There should have been more disclosures on the product if PetSmart is going to sell it.

When I tried to make an appointment at this Petsmart I was put on hold twice and given the runaround finally about the fact that he was "too old to stand" and that they would make the appointment but might send him home if he couldnt stand. The last time he was groomed he was difficult about the hair around his toes and I undstand that but it turns out they put me off by saying he is too old to stand when he is really healthy and feisty. If they had said he was too jumpy to groom I would have accepted that but they tried to be smart and lie about his age.

I had a wonderful experience with the Grooming saloon, especially with the groomer Kimberly. I brought my dog first time for her to give him a cut and she did an excellent job on him. The express service is 1 hr or under, price is good for me and I am very pleased with Kim. Very pleasant person. I will be back again and will tell my friend who is looking for a good groomer to bring her dog to Kim. Thanks Kim.

Couldnt find staff ANYWHERE, had to go to the cashier to ask for an assistant. Staff knew nothing about small animal care. She seemed to just want to get rid of the animal. Animal conditions for guinea pigs can be described as poor at best. I feel like I saved this guinea pig from a hell hole. I just hope hes not over-breed enough to live an acceptable amount of time with proper care. Smh

I have never had bad experiences with this Petsmart. The staff are very attentive, always asking if I need help with anything very soon after going to whichever pet section Im looking for. The fish department is very well kept, and most of the employees working with fish are very nice and helpful.

I have always had great experience when I bring my daughters puppy to the doctors and or to get groomed. Only one small problem, their is really no one on the floor to help you find things that you need. So I had to go to the cashier. Otherwise thumbs up.

I had a similar experience with the Banfield clinic. They gave my geriatric beagle shots for things she didnt need, so as to charge max $ and they almost killed her in the process.
