I buy most of my hair products elsewhere, so I only need to stop in a BSS when I need braiding hair. I was last in this store a couple of years ago and the owner at the time was friendly and professional. Stopped in again this month and the man who handled my transaction was beyond rude. First, I waited at the counter for a good minute before the man came out on his phone. Then, he remained on the phone and barely acknowledged me. When my transaction was done, he placed my credit card in front of him, on his side of the counter, instead of handing it back to me. I had to ask if he was done, because he handed me my bag, but kept the card. I had to reach across the counter to get my card, and the counter is wide and at least shoulder height. I get outside and realize this man charged me for 2 items I did not purchase, instead of the pack of braiding hair Ive purchase, overcharging me by $1 and some change. I went back in, pointed it out, and was refunded the difference. He didnt want to return the original receipt, but I demanded it because of the charge on my card. Treating any customer in this manner is disgusting. This store and the people running it have changed, and they will not be getting any of my money in the future.
