This is one of the better stocked Dollar Generals. There is actually room to breathe in this store. I find the bulk of the other stores to be too crowded that theres no room to stand back and look at the shelves. The employees at this location are actually very helpful and have a pretty good idea as to where everything is located and will take you right to it rather than giving directions that end up being inaccurate. They lose a star because I have found expired Pringles on the shelves before. But overall, good people, friendly, and decently stocked and organized.

This store consistently looks like it was hit by a tornado. I was in during the spring and thought maybe they were remodeling. Stopped by over the summer and it was still a huge mess. Stopped by today and its in the exact same status. Cases of merchandise are all over the place and most things arent in the right spots. You can barely get down the aisles with a cart. I dont think the store is ever cleaned up because the stashing of unwanted grabbings are everywhere!

The best dollar store in the Harrisburg area. Very clean, organized and always stocked well. I find a greater variety of products here with better style options available than other stores. I get a lot of decorative items here like trendy organizers, burlap ribbon and beautiful glass containers that I get tons of compliments on.

By far the General Dollar is my favorite dollar store. They give out coupons on their receipts which is great. Im not sure why, but the week of holidays, they do not offer coupons. I actually asked a few people why they werent offering coupons and only one of the workers there knew it had to do with the holiday.

Prices are good, service slow. They either dont have but one cashier at a time or the cashier is too slow. Still going to continue to go though because the store is kept for the most part decent.

Nothing special about the goods but the lines for checkout are almost always short. Pleasant employees for the most part. The place is always clean (unlike many dollar stores).
