My wife and I drove 120 miles to visit this store when we learned ELM Shoes specialized in slim and narrow shoes, and we were not disappointed. An attentive, helpful and knowledgeable assistant helped my wife find exactly what she needed, including making slight adjustments to guarantee a perfect fit. - - - - - - - Update: My wife received a hand-written thank you card in the mail from the assistant who served her. This goes beyond what one would normally expect, so I have upgraded the stores rating to 5 stars.

I have really long, narrow feet that have always been difficult to find shoes for, especially work boots. I bought a pair of boots from their shoe truck when it came to my company, but after a few weeks the fit was definitely not right. I bought a smaller normal-width boot when I shouldve bought a narrow. Four weeks later, I brought them back into their store, and Ron was a great help in finding two better-fitting boots and getting them ordered with safety toes. In short, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Had a great experience at ELM Shoes today. Checking out the store and selections of orthopedic shoes for Mom -- and to see what they had for me! Will be meeting experienced fitter, Emily, at Quincy Village on Wednesday to get Mom fitted. Once that is accomplished, Ill be back for myself!

Use to be a great place to find mens sizes 16 and up now they are like all the other stores in the tri-state and you have to walk barefoot for 10 days while they order your size...Would also be helpful if the store opened earlier or stayed open longer....

Quality shoes and a lot of new items. This is a rather pricey store, but you get what you pay for. We only come with one set of feet and they deserve good shoes. If you cant find what you are looking for at ELM, you wont find it.
