This is a nice Giant Eagle with good stuff & the staff is always friendly when I go, but on 2/12/17 I bought some kale, and on 2/15/17 I took it out of the bag and had a live insect (a thumbnail-sized green beetle) fall out of the bunches. The bag was sealed shut in my fridge the entire time, so he was obviously in there at the store. I understand accidents are bound to happen, so I politely took in my receipt, the now-dead bug in a bag and a picture of it alive to the customer service desk, because I figured theyd want to know. The lady at the desk at 7:45 AM 2/17/17; all she did was make a face & refund the $2.50 I paid for it. I wasnt looking for anything more than that, but she handed me back my receipt without making a copy, so I dont think they had any intention of checking the other produce or following up with the supplier. Be sure to always rinse your vegetables, folks.

Had an opportunity to use the Giant Eagle drive thru pharmacy. The convenience of not having to get out of the car when you are sick is greatly appreciated. But, when you are very sick it is understood that there are pertinent questions to identify each of us as the customer on file. The rest of the questions are frustrating to keep answering because the person waiting on you does not wish to read the screen with the answers on it. Maybe some days the employee needs extra help when the line is long.

I cant imagine shopping anywhere else. This Giant Eagle is great - and the best part is the cheese bar. You can find any kind of cheese your heart desires. I try a new one every time I go in. The bakery is great also! Cashiers are fast!

Best one in Erie, even better than the brand new store across from the Millcreek Mall. The brand new store is like shopping in a spaceship. Harborcreek store is well-organized and has a good selection things are very easy to find.

Just another giant eagle. Staffs maintains it pretty well. Check out is usually really quick. Isles are usually very well stocked and maintained as well. Has big market and it also has a alcohol section with a nice selection

I go here mostly for the cafe. The salad bar has a lot of choices. They have pretty good subs (not as good as wegmans though) and fantastic pizza which is freshly made. I usually get the buffalo chicken pizza and I love it.

Love the store if you shop smart on their deals you can get same price or cheaper for better quality any wheres else plus has perks are great! Friendly staff and very clean store shop there multiple times weekly!
