Went in to get a price on a trade in and upgrade My selection. During the visit, the gentleman at the counter looked up statistics and prices for the model(trade-in value, wear and tear.) When he came back over to evaluate Mine, he proceeded to disassemble it to check for wear and tear. While taking it apart (mind you, should never be done by the shopkeeper) he didnt know how to properly strip it, pried the recoil rod out and snapped the tip of it.. then proceeded to say that it was a Sig part and they cant replace it. I was none to thrilled. He said to bring it back when it was repaired and then he could evaluate it further.. Yeah, thanks.. I would advise anyone remotely intellectual to cease and desist from going there, unless you want a dumbed down price, fairly uninterested service, and an enormous waste of time taken out of your day. Cheers all!

VERY DISHONEST! very ignorant! tried to rip us off! went in for a 270 for 15 year old son...give him a 7mm mag and didnt tell us. could of been bad for my son...gave us a big hassle when we took the gun back....he was willing to exchange the $550 7mm for the 270 we originally asked for priced at $350....but he wanted to swap and charge us another $75 on top of the $550 we paid initially just to get the $350 270! he is an arrogant scammer!

Laymans Gun Shop is the most upbeat professional gun shop that I have ever been too. The quality of products is the upmost best quality and prices cant be beat. If you are looking for any archery, hunting, defense, or education/laws, this is the place to go. Very educated on all of their products and services. Found the perfect "Betsy" for my protection and my husband cant stay away! Wont go any way else! Family owned and operated.

Made a google account just so i could write this review. I have no personal/financial affiliation with Laymans. I have baught and traded in firearms there. They have always given me good value on my weapons and i have yet to find a dealer in my area that even matches there prices, not even gunbroker. If i want something special, they order it, have a problem, they fix it. Friendly and professional service. I give them an A+

I needed a G5 Prime dealer, so I came to Laymans to get my bow worked on..quick and professional service, not to mention on a very very very short notice...when its bow season and your bow is out of commission people can take advantage of you..not this guy...charged me some minimum fee and I was all ready to go within a half an hour! Had new night sights installed on my S&W 40 at this location. They installed them in an hour and the amount they charged was very responsible. The people at this gun shop have been very friendly and knowledgeable every time I have dealt with them. Nice little local gun shop. I enjoy doing business there.

I went in to buy my first handgun the employees were very nice and helpful set me up with everything I needed.. took no longer then 15 minutes in and out with gun....I will return in the future and I would recommend everyone to do the same.....awesome experience and staff

Excellent selection of new and used, great ammo selection with OK ammon prices, and the staff is great. Awesome selection ok AR parts for your build, and also NFA items (mgs and suppressors). They also sell online and through gunbroker.

I took a shotgun there to get a recoil pad pit on and it took two weeks amd they did a horrible job it didnt even fit the gun proper. They didnt even want to correct THEIR mistake i do not recommend this place at all
