I am extremely displeased with the current service at the CVS located on Reeceville road Coatesville PA, 19320. I have been using this pharmacy since it opened a few years ago and I have NEVER had to deal with the issues that I am constantly dealing with now. My number one issue is that my prescriptions are ALWAYS being lost by the pharmacy. Recently (the past three/ four months) I will go in to fill my prescriptions and will be told some prescriptions are refillable but not the others. The straw that broke the camel’s back occurred a week or so ago, on a Friday afternoon. I was going away for the weekend I and knew I needed to refill my medicine. I call, I give my name and information, I am put on hold, I am told that one of the medications can NOT be refilled because there was no script on file. I was told that I would need to obtain a new prescription from my doctor in order to fill and purchase the medication. Extremely confused as to why my other prescriptions were on file except for one, I asked the pharmacist to please check again. I am put on hold for another 20 minutes or so and then informed that they DO in fact have the prescription they told me they didnt. I expressed my frustrations by explaining that had I not asked the pharmacy to double check for my prescription I would have been without it for quite some time. If the pharmacy had withheld my prescription due to their own incompetency I would have suffered seriously uncomfortable and painful medical complications. There was NO WAY I was going to be able to schedule an appointment with my doctor that Friday afternoon/ weekend. And the appointment I already do have scheduled with him is not for another month and a half! The pharmacist apologized and said that my prescriptions would be ready in 45 minutes.... This also was a setback as I had received a text message notification that morning saying my prescriptions were filled and ready to be picked up (at this point I always call beforehand so I dont find myself sitting in the CVS waiting for my medicine due to (their) unforeseen errors- that seem to happen EVERY TIME I go to fill a prescription). When I finally go to pick up my medications I am told that I will need to use a PIN code for a credit transaction. My card does not have a PIN code. I explained this and was asked if I had any other means of payment. I did not. After everything, they were telling me that I could not purchase my medicine....... I was not happy. I kept my composer and kindly asked the woman if she could enter my card in manually. She told me she didnt think that was an option. I insisted that she check anyways and what would you know- yes you can enter a card manually and WITHOUT a PIN code. I pointed out that this makes the whole process of requiring a PIN code for purchase completely invalid in the first place. She did not have an answer for me. I have been seeing the same doctor for over two years; I have used this CVS since it first opened. I have, however, seen numerous new/ different pharmacists come and go at this particular pharmacy. I can only conclude that the root of my troubles stems from an untrained, disorganized staff. If these issues are not addressed I will be forced to find a different pharmacy and take my business elsewhere.

Worst Pharmacy i ever went too. This Pharmacy would not know when there would be getting my Medication back in. The lady told me " Maybe in a Week or Month she would not know when" It seems pretty stupid to me that CVS who ownes Medication distropution company can not supply there own Stores. I went to Rite Aid and i had no problem there getting my medication and i been going there for all my medications. I will not return to CVS any more. Also the workes at Rite Aid more friendly. Goodbye CVS.

Just take ten minutes and contact google to include your pharmacy hours. I picked this pharmacy because I was under the impression that the entire business was open until ten after looking at google. I showed up at 9:30 to find out that the pharmacy closes at 9:00. I asked the cashier about it and she then tells me, "yeah, they should really change that. A lot of people have complained about it"

A good CVS (not 24-hour) that is well maintained but somewhat understaffed. Plenty of parking, but slightly awkward access from US-30 when going east (west is easy). Very helpful pharmacy staff and a convenient drive-through window.
