I shop frequently at the Pathmark and wanted to look around in the Wines and Spirits. My first visit was very unpleasant. I was having something at my house and decided to go in and purchase the liquor instead of going to Total Wine, where I usually shop. I also needed some things from Pathmark so I thought I would kill two birds with stone. When I first walk in the store, the clerk greets us and I start looking around. The clerk follows me to the aisle I was in and stands and watches me. I didnt really notice until my niece pointed. I turned his direction and he asked me if he could help for the second time. I politely told him no. There was another gentleman on the other side of the store and he never asked him how he could help him during the time I was in the store. A few minutes later, the gentleman was ready to make his purchase and he only left my view to check him out. The minute the clerk was finished he came back over to the beginning of the aisle I was standing in, crossed his arms and stared at me. I felt his eyes on me, turned around and asked him if there was a problem. I told him that I was leaving because he was making me uncomfortable. He told me that there have been thefts and they were told to assist all customers. I know that customer service is important, but it is not meant to creep the customers out. He scared my niece and then he became very sarcastic and rude. I would not recommend it.

Why go to Delaware illegally for wine when you can buy it here, in the convenience of a Pathmark? Its a shame though that this store converted from Super Fresh to Pathmark. But you can enjoy a drink at the lounge at AMF Conchester Lanes here in the shopping center, then pick up some wine or spirits at this store. As a plus, the Pathmark sells "non-alcoholic" beer and wine which arent really non-alcoholic, but are low in alcohol content.

They have a nice drink selection for such a small store. If youre looking for larger stock, you may need to go to the one in Concordville, as this one is about half that stores size.
