I have previously had good experiences here, but the last few visits and phone calls were terrible. There is an air of disinterest with every associate. As if they couldnt be bothered to help you, unless pressed, and even then its begrudgingly. I asked about the cost of a replacement battery for my Macbook. The associate shrugged said, "Dont know." I asked, "Should I expect it to be the same as the Apple store?" He said, "Yeah, its the same." Then suddenly, he knew the answer. "Itll be $179." Meanwhile, the Apple store quoted me $129 for the same replacement. The price was an issue, but more than anything its the extraordinary lack of customer service that seeps from the building. Ive walked in there several times and stood (in an empty showroom), completely ignored for several minutes while associates talk amongst themselves or simply walk right by you without a single word. I used to go there because its conveniently located and I like supporting a small local business, but now much rather take the longer drive to Whitehall where I am warmly welcomed as soon I walk in the door and instantly attended to by a pleasant employee.

First of all, I want to mention that I am not the kind of person to publically post negative things about anybody on the internet. However, I was so upset about how I was treated at this establishment, that if I can save one person the time and energy it will be worth it. I have NEVER been treated so poorly. I was 100% honest when I went there and stated that I did not know what I was doing as technology is not something that I know much about because I wanted to get their expert opinion. This was then given eye rolling, deep sighs of frustration, and extreme distain when I would ask any questions. I went in to ask a question which was answered with "Umm..I dont know." N follow up, no asking questions, no help. TERRIBLE customer service.

This place is amazing. I hate the apple store, but the personalized service here is awesome. I work from home, and remote anywhere, so when my MacBook was terribly infected with Malware, I needed it resolved and FAST. Double Click did just that, we dropped it off intending to get the $79 tune up, and should be done by the end of the day. To my surprise it was ready in an hour, and they managed to remove the malware without having to tune up the machine, which was only $26.50 and saved my company $52.50! It was a nice feeling to get treated right and save money, compared to Apple where it seems they want to just make as much money off of you as possible!

Hats off to Mike and his team at Double-Click. I had a problem with my aging iMac and they not only fixed it but told me that if the computer continued to have issues (no fault of theirs) they would credit me the cost of my repair if I was forced to upgrade. I was, and they did. Further, knowing I use this computer every day for work, Mike made sure I got a new system migrated over the weekend, so Monday morning was not hellish. He did the migration reboxed the new iMac and even signed me up for everything I would have had to do myself. I literally could not ask for a better experience. Shop local !!!

Despite good customer service over the years, and the managers three adorable dogs distracting customers in the shop, Im sorry to report that, in addition to being forced by Apple to charge me nearly two hundred dollars extra to keep my Mac notebooks failed part, the repair was either not correctly, or the replacement part was faulty. I have had to change my travel plans to bring it back for a second repair.

I was tended to immediately and the guy there was super nice. I had a known hardware issue that they were able to resolve pretty quickly. Even though my repair was free, they were upfront about their costs. There were no surprises. Not only did they replace the faulty hardware in my mac, but they also ran through my HD to make sure I wouldnt encounter future issues. Glad I went here.

Have been going here for many years. Tried the Apple store when it first came to town years ago and high tailed it right back to Double Click. Good, Fast and Reasonable.
