I have always been happy with the customer service I have received from AT&T in their stores. My visit to the Bala Cynwyd store was no different. We were purchasing a new phone as well as upgrading our plan and making some changes to it. Jared could not have been more helpful or more knowledgeable. He answered all of our (many) questions and made sure we understood. He also got us in and out of the store way more quickly than I had expected given all of the things we needed to accomplish. When we had a small problem with my husbands data not working after we left the store, he helped us fix it immediately, even though it was his dinner break. We very much appreciated that. Overall, it was a great experience visiting an AT&T store and one of the reasons I have been a loyal customer since my first cell phone in the early 2000s! I took away one star in this review because I had to wait a long time when I walked in to be acknowledged by a staff member. Usually, when you walk into an AT&T store, you are greeted right away and they take your name and enter it into a tablet so that youre in line to be helped. Unfortunately, it took about twenty minutes of being in the store before that happened this time. I understood that they were very busy, but I feel like an employee should have been assigned to the task of greeting customers as they entered. I think waiting for so long, unacknowledged, could cause many customers to leave without being helped. However, in spite of the wait, overall, we were very pleased with this visit & the Bala Cynwyd store. I recommend asking for Jared!

The worst AT&T I have ever been. I just needed to take my number out from my family plan to individual plan, and this took me the whole afternoon. The staff was very impatient and every time when he needed to answer to the call, he would complain us for 1 minute before talking. Besides, he totally didnt know how to treat my situation, but he didnt ask, he just "invented" some ridiculous ways to solve. He told me to phone here and there, but nobody knew how to. When I came back to my home, I asked online and the nice guy online suggested me to change to another store. When I changed to the one near the UPenn, the girl was very nice, she also didnt know how to deal with my situation, but she kept to ask around and solved in 30 minutes. As a foreign student my English was not so good but I could clearly know that the former awful experience is not because of my English, for I even began to chat with the latter girl! If you ask me, I have to say something that is not very polite: this is because the lack of intelligence of some guys! I advise, especially to the foreign students in and around SJU, if you have anything, easy or hard, dont go here if you have any other choices, they can do nothing but waste your time!

I dont think I have ever been treated more rudely in a customer service situation. I had a long wait (20 mins) while several staff people stood around and looked out the window. Apparently you have to wait for the right person. Ok, thats your system. I can deal with that. The person that helped me though was just rude. He determined that something had failed in the internal components in my phone and that it had to be replaced. The only option he could present me with was was to purchase a new phone at full price (close to $800). When I asked him if there were any other options, he told me that I could pay or leave and handed me my phone. Guess Ill try a different AT&T store.

They lied to my face just to get me out of the store. Told me it was impossible to port a number from a Go-Phone account to a regular account which is clearly not the case according to their own Porting Department. Also refused to help my wife exchange a phone which was within a week of purchase. Never go to this store! Its worth driving for an additional 20 minutes to the one near Villanova!

Poor service even though there were were only a few customers in the store. After a 25 min wait the assistant manager, Corrina White, refused to activate a phone on an existing line, because she was not " customer service". We had to wait another 15 minutes for a person to help us while she "manned" the nearly empty store.

doesnt pay attention to customers. Busy talking to coworkers. Never and i do mean never do they answer the phone. Ive even been on the phone with customer service trying to call that store. They never answer. That store makes a person want to switch
