3 strikes your out! Tonight was the final straw for me, in a year and a half I have unfortunately needed the pharmacy @ Safeway in West Linn 3 times and every time has been a train wreck! So lets talk about today...My doctor called in a prescription of antibiotics because I have a slight infection in my lower jaw caused from a virus I had about 3 weeks ago, so I get to the counter and the young man tried to help me and ask me my name and date of birth at least 6 times and kept saying I wasnt in their system so finally he went and started asking the 2 pharmacists if they had a prescription for me. Both pharmacists said no, nothing so the young man came back and said sorry your Dr. never called in anything, finally I said your sure Dr Dugger never called in anything when all of a sudden the one pharmacist says...oh ya here I have a note (he held up a 8X11 piece of paper that was completely stuffed with probably 30 disorganized notes a complete mess!) right here Im terribly sorry it will be 20 minutes and well have it ready. So I come back in 20 minutes the pharmacist that found the note comes to give me instruction and I asked him if what he was giving me was Gluten Free and Dairy Free as I have an ALLERGY not a preference or diet choice... which he replies I have no idea and would take me a long time to research and get back to you. I said what am I supposed to do the Dr was clear he wanted me to start taking this over the weekend so that it doesnt get worse but if I take it and it does have gluten or dairy it could make me sick? His reply not sure what to tell you! I wont know today and Im off tomorrow, so sir Im not sure what you want me to do... My reply was Im in disbelief that Im buying from a pharmacy and pharmacist that went to school for at least 8 years Im assuming not someone on a street corner, and the answer I get is "not sure what you want me to do????" Then he goes onto to tell me "this whole gluten thing is kinda new and the drug Mfg are not required to disclose if there is gluten or dairy in them". I said WHAT, you mean to tell me they can give out drugs and not disclose what allergens are in them.. he said "Yep", I said give me the drugs I have already paid for and I will do my own research! So that is why I will never use this pharmacy ever again and would discourage anyone else to either, I would hate for them to make a big mistake and cross up someones medication that could be a more serious life threatening situation. I would speak to anyone at Safeway if they need more info, sorry I didnt get his name but I could describe him and his badge was hand written and said pharmacist this I remember because at one point I was like what does this guy do here.

Unlike any of the other people who have put postings on this board, I have had several times with very good service at this pharmacy! I have picked up several medications very rapidly. Also, the last time, I wanted to have a 3 month supply of my pills, but my doctor only prescribed 1 month. I called the office, and the assistant said she would phone in the prescription right away. She didnt. So, I went to the pharamacist who phoned the doctor himself, and he did! For some reason the doctor this time sent a fax for just 2 months. The doctor was making a mistake. I wanted 3 months to make it easy for me and a little cheaper. When I called the dctir to ask what was up it was only 2 30 in the afternoon but no one answered at the doctors office. The pharmacist said he understood my concerns. He would give me a three day supply to tide me over until my doctor gave me what I wanted. This three day supply was free. I felt he gave me extra care. The next day the doctor sent in a prescription for the 3 months as I requested. So, anyway, you can see above they gave me extra service. I cant complain! Today, they did it again. I called to be sure they were ready, and I was there for about 10 minutes while they did something with my insurance which they did not know about in advance. The woman at the desk was very competent and friendly and caring and helpful. What more could I ask for?

So discouraged with the lack of service this pharmacy provides. They say that a prescription is out of refills, when actually there are remaining refills because the quantity prescribed was different than quantity dispensed. Ive requested to place Rxs on hold because they dont need filled because it was too early but the Dr gave Rx at an appointment. I come in to pick up a Rx that I requested, its not filled & there is a note saying 2 Rx were too soon to fills which I already knew because I asked them to put on hold for later.They forget to contact the doctor for Rx renewals when requested, & they dont answer the phone or return voicemails. The standing in line is at least 20 min, many times longer.

Very very slow! I got in lime with 5 other people and sat there with 4 people in the back and not a single one of them helping anyone for around 7 minutes. Then by the time we finally made it to pick up the prescription, we were told that the label was wrong and they had to make a new label. So we waited in the waiting room for over 15 minutes. All this after we received a call to let us know the prescription was ready to be picked up. Very poor customer service!

As the office manager for a busy clinic I can confidently say from the perspective of the doctors office and on behalf of patients that this pharmacy fails on every level of customer service and effective business practices. If selecting zero stars was an option I certainly would have exercised it.

Theyre very very slow each and every time weve been there. Not to mention on multiple occasions weve gotten home with the wrong prescriptions, because of a "miscommunication" with a Dr. or a "computer issue". Overall, they perform very poorly at their job in my opinion. Go somewhere else!

Borderline incompetent and extremely rude. Im a very patient person and have never posted a bad review before. However the consistent screw ups combined with the indifferent "go f-yourself" attitude while correcting their mistakes earns them 1 star.

Ive been using this pharmacy for 15 years. Not once has anyone treated me with anything but respect. Like any pharmacy, there are days when they dont have what I need. But they always apologize and get it for me as quickly as they can.

I have only had 1 positive interaction with them. I will definitely be finding a different pharmacy
