Me and my friends went into zumiez, we were in the back looking at sweaters until one of the employees came back and took one of the sweatershirts from my hand and said shell keep it up at the front. It was very stereotypical of this girl (employee) to think us young teenagers were shoplifting. She accused us of shoplifting when we went up to the front bc I just wanted a picture of the sweatshirt to show to my mom. I was offended by the way she talked to me and the other employees implied that we were shoplifting also. There was no proof of us shoplifting whats so ever and I just wanted a picture of the sweatshirt. I was extremely offended and Im never going back to that zumiez.

please read fully! I can not stand going into ANY Zumies. I hate the sales tactics of being pressured, and their "in your face" attitude. That being said, today i walked into the Washington Square Mall Zumies today, with a friend, and was humbly greeted by Casey. he just said to let him know when we needed help. so when i needed help, i let him know! he spent a good hour with me helping me find shoes, and building a board that was ethical for me. he even made me a solid deal on the price. i guaranteed him my business, because he was that good! As long as he works there, i will support that store, and keep coming in!

Bought a hat with the strap stitching ripped. Thread obviously got loose and separated. Dude at counter with dreads was rude, laughed and accused me of lying because I took the tags off and there was a short hair in the strap. Very clearly not my hair. Got it swapped eventually, but I shouldnt have to argue with some chump of an employee. Dude should have apologized for selling me a busted hat and my inconvenience driving back to the mall. Never returning here. Ill settle for Journeys, employees without attitude.

Top skate and snow brands, but Zumiez notorious aggressive salesmanship might dampen your trip. The music, while not bad, is usually cranked.
