I would like to state that this review is NOT of the main tattoo artist (Karissa), I cannot comment on her talents. Judging by the reviews she must be a good artist. This review is of my experience with Kayla. I had an arm piece done in June with this artist, she didnt draw anything up until the day before the appointment and proceeded to do the entire half sleeve in about 4 hours while charging for 6hrs. After 2 subsequent "touch up" sessions I had to live with the tattoo which lacked depth, detail and even perspective for about 3 embarrassing months at which time I had my current tattoo artist take a break from my side piece we were working on to do 2 sessions on the arm in order to salvage it. Luckily Kaylas lack of shading and detail allowed for the piece to be saved. If you get tattoo work here DO NOT get it done through Kayla. Ive had over 30 hrs of tattoo work done and hers was the worst hands down.

So about 2 years ago I had a tattoo done for my aunt who had cancer and passed away from it. After numerous times of calling texting, with no luck of getting hold of the guy who started my tattoo. I was left with a unfinished peice and left without closure. After 6 months of debating and waiting I finally reached out to kawboi Tattoo shop where I was comforted with the promise that Kayla could finish my peice. Today Kayla finished my peice gave me what I wanted let her play around with some colors to add. But most of all I have a lot more closure now with my aunts passing then before knowing her tattoo made just for her is finished and is absolutely stunning. And at a very reasonable price. Thank you I will be back

I have 2 tattoos done by the now closed MPG tattoo shop in Salem. Karissa has done 5 of my other tattoos and I love her work and energy. Only reason she hasnt done my last recent tattoo was because I live in Oklahoma now. Definitely recommend Karissa! :)

Fantastic place to get a tattoo. The staff are friendly, bright, and knowledgeable of what they do. If you enjoy the qualities I listed as well as getting a tattoo you are happy with, this is the place to go to. The artists here are pros.

Karissa is incredible! I have sat with her multiple times, including two 5 hour sessions! Shes a genuine person who is passionate about her art, both on canvas and on skin! Shes the only person that will ever tattoo me again!
