While a couple of the most basic donuts are cheaper than other shops, ALL of their donuts and pastries are much smaller than typical - my honest guess is that the range from 60-80% the normal size Thats always a little disappointing. Taste is fine - the are indeed fresh. They dont taste any better or worse than those from most other good donut shops. Selection is limited, and Im not a Voodoo fan complaining there arent weird options. Just a few more commonly stocked items would be good. Service is OK - I did get mildly chastised (yes, chastised) by the lady once for not calling the day before when I ordered 2 dozen donuts. Come on, only two dozen , its not like I order 10 dozen. Its OK if you need a quick fix, but if you have an extra 3-4 minutes, Id recommend driving down 99W to Sesame.

The negative reviews are nonsense. You should give them a try and it will be apparent that it is someone trying to sabotage their business. How unfortunate! This is such a great place, with great owners and great service. They always greet you with a smile. My daughter loves the owners and they greet her with a hug. Always fresh donuts, never day old. We have a family treat and visit on Saturday mornings. Their donuts are not over the top sugary with gobs of frosting and glaze, so if that is what you are looking for....this isnt the place. I love that they are local and not some huge chain store. BEST DONUTS IN TIGARD!!!!! WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!

I am the transportation supervisor at EFI Recycling. I had a employee safety meeting I have to give this morning at 6 am. I called Tigard Donut Shop yesterday after they were closed. I put in my order on the message machine, and said I needed 3 dozen mixed donuts and wanted to pick them up at 5 am right when they open. I got there at 5:05 am and they were sitting on the counter ready to go. They greeted me with a smile and i headed to my meeting. All the employees agreed it was the best donuts they have tasted. Everyone was happy. Thank You for making my experience perfect.

Seriously, ditch the big name donuts with their "innovative" flavors and do yourself a favor by reveling in the unappreciated simplicity of a donut genius. This guy and his wife know what they are doing. Go to this place, purchase a donut, eat it in your car, cry a little because you are so happy, and thank me later. This conversation has already gone on too long because you have not purchased a donut from this place yet. If you need some motivation: your computer chair is about to turn into lava in ten seconds. Now you have no excuse AND a reason to hurry.

I was raised (no pun intended) in a family ran, family owned Daylight Donuts growing up. This place is the closest that I have found, outside of inner city Portland, to those childhood donuts. Great donuts, really great prices, lovely lovely people, and they do it the way its supposed to be done. They even fill your donut right in front of you. It smells like donuts when you walk in, the way it should be. If a donut shop doesnt smell like donuts when you walk in, be prepared to be disappointed. This place... Does NOT disappoint!

Best Donuts, its not a hipster location its basic atmosphere with the classic amazing donuts that really do melt in your mouth and the owners are very nice and friendly. Feels like your in a small town at the neighborhood donut shop, I love this place! My wifes family prefers the donuts here over voodoo downtown and Id have to agree. My wifes and Is favorite is the apple fritter when its still warm, it quite literally melts in your mouth and the flavor is superb! The maple bar is also out of this world.

This is not Voodoo donuts. This will not due if you are looking to check out the giant, wild flavored donut craze happening in Portland. IF you are a tourist this is not for you. This is your average donut shop with all the same flavors you can get in your home city. Only very small and minimalistic decoration. Sure the donuts were very good as donuts go, the chocolate is made on-site, and the lady behind the counter was very nice. But nothing different or original than you can get anywhere.

Not sure why people dont take the time to understand why some companys run the way they do and give this place reviews. That being said yes I have gone there and they are out of what I like but thats also why I love them so much. Everything is fresh everyday and they sell out because they make it every morning. I also really love being there right at 5 am when they open as they place smells amazing from the fresh made donuts and coffee. So try it out, just be early!

What a horrible little place this is. Where should I start? The doughnuts were not fresh and tasted like they were days old. There was one table there which was already being used. I shouldnt have to eat in my car to enjoy the food. The people working there were mean and made it even worse. In the end I only bought the one doughnut because I was really hungry. Do not make the same mistake I did, Just go to a different place. Even grocery store doughnuts taste better.

Nice little mom & pop shop. The husband comes in every day except Sunday at 1am to bake donuts, & the wife comes in at 5 am to sell them. The donuts are always fresh and good, they are seriously the BEST donuts Ive ever had. You have to be quick though, they only bake a certain amount & when they sell out, or when the clock hits 1pm whichever comes first, they close up. Some days they sell out before 9am so be aware. Their coffee is pretty good for pump coffee too.

I dont know what those negative reviews are talking about. I go here every week to purchase a few dozen donuts for work, and my co-workers love them. We have tried a few other places, but all were disappointing compared to Tigard Donut. The donuts are simple, fresh, and well made. The owners are nice, lovely people and always greet me with a smile. I am a very satisfied patron of this wonderful local business.

Best donuts in Tigard! Hands down. The owners are very nice people who make the donuts fresh on site EVERY morning. The level of customer service is great. The demand for their amazing donuts is high and they do sell out some/most days. These negative reviews are not real customers. They sound like jealous competition.

Fantastic donuts! They fill them right there in front of you! The raspberry filled was our favorite and the "pig in a blanket" was very similar to a good kolache from Texas. Delicious! They do sell out early, their selection was limited when we arrived around 10am on a Saturday. Extremely friendly! We will be back!

Sadly I havent had a chance to stop by the store myself, but a coworker brought me an apple fritter from Tigard Donuts, and it is by far the best one Ive had to date. Theres a limit of two per customer and I can see why the demand is so high. Ill be stopping by very soon to collect for myself.
