This place is usually chaos in the lunch hour. I went once for dinner and strangely it was fairly empty and pleasant in comparison. I feel like they could re-organize this a bit better to make ordering/customer-flow nicely. For example, why not ask each restaurant to put up flat-screens of their menus, so that customers could easily see what they can order? Because as it stands now you have people looking for menus, or sharing menus, or they head up to the counter with no idea what to order because they cant find a menu. This seems like needless waste of time for everyone, customers, the restaurant, etc. One time I waited 10 minutes as a family of four continually asked questions that were on the menu! If youre going to ask people to bus their own tables, YOU HAVE TO put places to bus all over the restaurant. But they dont, its near the back, so people in the front carry their empty plates/trays all the way to the back in a weird inefficient dance that, again, may seem like no big deal, but at lunch this place is a madhouse and this just seems like crowd control is chaos. Having said that, I have really enjoyed the food here, but I think if youre going to have a big market like this, tweaks to make customer flow faster would be appreciated.

I appreciate that Pine Street Market is entirely enclosed. Despite its warehouse-like space, it was warm and toasty during the cold, wet winter months. Also, its open daily, though Olympic Provisions and Israeli Street Food were both closed on a Monday at lunchtime. The experience is further enhanced by plenty of seating, lots of napkins, clean bathrooms (no code needed), and recycling /composting bins. We ate at Trifecta and Salt & Straw and the service was great at both spots.

Pine Street Market is the best aspect of most malls but better. Its a food court with family style seating and a decent selection of foods. You can grab coffee, ice cream, small plates, or alcohol. The downside to being so good and popular is it does get a bit crowded and can be hard to find a place to sit and eat in peace. So far the building and interiors are well maintained and for that I cant give to fault to anything else.

I love this space. Great for eating with groups that "dont know" or "dont care" what to eat. Ive been at lunch, happy hour, and for an after dinner drink. Its a little pricey but its really nice to be able to order separately from multiple places if youd like and sit community style. Highchairs are provided and Ive brought my son, but I would avoid bringing a stroller as space is limited.

The proliferation of the hipster food court continues. Pretty cool place thats family friendly, has some great food, drink and dessert options and reasonable prices. Its not a market, per se, so dont expect to go here for produce...its just another version of Liberty public market in San Diego or numerous other glorified food courts that are starting to spring up in hip young towns.

I love the bustling atmosphere of Pine Street Market with its very unique Portland vibe. All the stalls offered a wide variety of food. The food I ordered was delivered quickly and was so savory and filling. I went to Pollo Bravo and ordered a savory soup with a spicy garlic broth, soft egg, and tasty croutons with a petite raddichio salad as a side. I would definitely dine again!

Great spot, and quality food options, cant wait until it expands. Not cheap, if you are looking for a deal youre better off with the actual food carts down the street - yet another reminder the Portlands food prices are getting universally ridiculous, even in a "food court". Plus you have to have enough left over for salt and straw soft serve. yeah. nom and sigh at the same time.

Diverse selection of delicious food and drinks. It combines offerings from some of my favorite local restaurant mini-empires in a single building. The design of the space is beautiful, and you can bring any crowd from families with kids to adults out for a drink. The aisles are a little cramped and not every stand is a home run, but overall its fantastic.

So far Ive visited Shalom Yall. Having lived in Israel for a few years, this place was great and reminded me of Israel. The staff was very friendly but not very knowledgeable about the food. You must have the shakshuka and order arak in ice water, how its served in Israel. I would visit again and Im looking forward to trying the other restaurants as well.

This is why I love portland.. I have lived here my entire 30 years of my life and I keep finding new cool places to eat and hang out at. I ate at 2 of their restaurants I dont remember the names just know one was with the chicken half or whole bird type deal and the other was a Ramen place. Really good food a little pricey but the atmosphere was perfect

Went on a friday night. It wasnt too crowded, was able to find seating for 4 immediately. We got a whole chicken from Pollo Bravo, a salad from Common Law, and fries from OP Wurst to share. All three dishes came out quickly and were all very tasty. Got a beer at Common Law as well, didnt realize it was $6 a pint. When did this happen in Portland?

Ehhh so loud due to "background music" we had to tell at each other, very crowded uncomfortable stools, high prices for non spectacular food. And 5 of the restaurants refused to offer me any food due to my food allergy (peppers) even the burger place. We ended up going to Kells afterward, had better food, better drinks and could actually socialize

I love this place. Its got a great variety of places to eat and can appease everyones interests between the 10 places to eat. The pizza is great (get a personal or whole pizza). And the chicken is great at pollo bravo. The ramen is also decent. To round out the meal, ice cream cones/chaco tacos at Whiz Bang Bar is a great way to round the meal.

Possibly the best place in Portland to try a bunch of amazing food from some of the best restaurateurs in the city. No complaints, excellent food, service and overall experience. Just remember, it is downtown and there isnt a SmartPark anywhere close, so parking will be an issue (i.e. expensive or nonexistent) should you choose to drive.

The best gathering of diverse food options under one roof I have ever seen. There is food for everyone when a group cant choose a restaurant. This is an indoor/ac area with friendly group and individual casual seating, reminds me of a large open barn decorated for an event. There is dinner/lunch/bars/dessert available under one roof.

This local gem offers a wide variety of different cuisines. From thin-sliced pizza pie to burgers with toppings of foie gras, there is most certainly something here for everyone. Once youve had your fill of great beer and maybe a bit of hot ramen noodles the colder months, grab a bit of froyo or a milkshake from Wiz Bang Bar.

Its always busy, so be prepared to deal with a bit of a crowd. Its a great place to try several different resturants in one building. I love the Barista coffee place and they have one in there. A few places to get cocktails or beer and wine, an Ice cream place and a couple food places. Great place to stop at in Portland!
