After consulting with 4 different florists we had hit a wall. Either extremely overpriced for "custom flowers" (1,500 for 3 SMALL bouquets and 5 bouts) or very impersonal. We had people just show us pictures and ask if thats what we wanted and florists that wanted us to tell them EXACTLY what flowers to be included. We are not florists and had no clue what flowers we wanted, just what we wanted it to look like. We needed someone to listen to the explanation and then SHOW us what flowers would fit. Then, at 5:05 pm when the store was already closed we ran into Amy (owner) on the sidewalk getting ready to leave. She kept the store open to talk with us, was gracious, friendly, and extremely knowlegable. She spent 45 minutes with us after closing. We described to her what we were thinking and she instantly brought us around the store showing us all of the different flowers that might work and offering suggestions. We called back 3 weeks before the wedding and placed our order. Extremely affordable. EXCELLENT SERVICE. Very knowledgable about what you can get in season and local to save money. The flowers were stunning. We were arranging our centerpieces ourselves at the wedding location and getting hydrangeas by the box on the stem. Amy called on Thursday to let us know the flowers were in and offered to put them in water for us for a small fee. I told her that we would pass on it to save some money. When we picked up the flowers, they were all in water with no charge. I will be using Laurelhurst Florist for all of my flower needs in the future. Amy and her crew did the flowers for my wedding (May 2013) and she was absolutely amazing! We were not an easy wedding since the majority of the planning was long distance. About 6 weeks before the wedding we met with Amy and she enthusiastically took on the challenge of creating 3 bouquets, 5 table pieces, and a very large statement piece. The creativity behind the statement piece and table pieces amazed me. The color choices were spot on, which really impressed me because I didnt think that jewel tones in the spring was that easy. She really listened to what I wanted and fulfilled her promises beyond my expectations. I also really appreciated that the meeting with her was low fuss, casual, and very comfortable. I recommend her to any Portland couple getting married.

I love this shop! I referred my friend here from 4 hours south because I knew that the flowers would be the very best. The staff worked with me to helped figure out the best option for the wedding flowers. I picked up the flowers on a Thursday and come Saturday they still looked alive and fresh for the big day. I would go back a millions times to get my flowers here before any other florist. Thank you Laurelhurst Florist for all that you have done for my friend and I.

I bought an oriental lily from Laurelhurst Florist on the 14th of March with 2 blooms partially open & 3 more to open soon after, as the nature of lilies do. I am so impressed with the premium quality of that lily cause 12 days later the last bloom is still standing so tall & proud. Laurelhurst Florist ceases to amazing & impress me with their quality & great customer service. Thank you, you will forever have my business.

It wasnt just me that absolutely loved the flower arrangements at my wedding on 09/10/11. Several guests approached and asked who the florist was. My headpiece was exquisitely designed and Amy stayed to make certain my bridesmaid knew how to adher it for me. Laurelhurst Flowers goes beyond customer service and into excellence in customer service. I highly recommend this florist.

We were thrilled when my husband discovered this florist by accident! The anniversary flowers they put together were so beautiful that I wanted to know right away where they were from. We have now stopped using our other florist and switched to Laurelhurst instead! They have offered terrific customer service with gorgeous products every time.

The person that help me out the day before was very nice and helpful. Had to call back today for info had a different lady that answer the phone ,Worst customer services ever! have the nastiest attitude. Didnt provide me the proper information I will never come back here for services and would like to share this to all my businesses.

I called from California for a same-day delivery to a friend. The girl on the phone was knowledgeable and so helpful and friendly! A beautiful arrangement at a great price was delivered same-day. My friend said they were so fragrant that the aroma filled the house! Thanks to Laurelhurst and Miya!

Really nice shop. Its not too big, but it had a nice selection and really cute little gifts to go along with them. Price was about average, as was the service. The flowers I got last week are still blooming, which is lovely.

Dont plan on picking anything you like off their website. I was just informed that the vases are "just for looks" on the website....and they only have clear and red. Then WHY put up the burnt orange fall vases?? Ugh!
