Ive always shopped at Whole Foods, but since we moved to the south metro, I decided to try this store. When I googled it, I noticed the 5 star review (later I noticed it was written by an employee.) I walked in the store and noticed it was super small and didnt have much to choose from. The produce area was awful...most everything was rotten or rotting. I purchased a few things that looked OK because we needed groceries, but within a few days, it was all rotten and had to be thrown out. Then I noticed the prices...its so expensive! Whole Foods is way cheaper and has a much bigger selection. I purchased 4 loaves of bread - 2 white, 1 sourdough and a raisin bread, all with an expiration date of 3/7 (I purchased them on 2/27.) all were covered in mold by 3/1 and had to be thrown out. Then there was the cashier. He was nice, but I had a few coupons and one was for a free item. He seemed to be having trouble getting the one to work, so he scanned it one last time and set it aside with the others he had already scanned. I said, "it worked that time?" He said "no, I cant get it to scan." Not like its a huge deal, it was just the principle at that point and I was ready to get the heck out of there. From now on, Ill drive the hour to Whole Foods and call it 100% worth it!

I typically go to a different local health food store but decided to try this place as the kombucha is slightly less here. I was disappointed to see they didnt have a brand I was looking for. Thats not the end of the world though, I understand they cant carry everything. Where I was disappointed though was when I pulled up to check out and the cashier seemed put out that I was making her do her job. Ill admit my youngest was being a handful but he wasnt interfering with her or her job. After she rang everything up (I probably had about 15 kombuchas) she in a very put out tone asked it I wanted a box to carry them out in..... Im thinking "uh no, Id like to make 7 trips. Yeah, I would like you to put them in something so I can take them" anyway the store itself seemed fine but the customer service sucked. I hope she just had a bad day and this isnt normal for them.

Ill start off with that I love Natural Grocers. The few that I went to have always been great. The employees are always so helpful and happy. I recently moved and now the one on 89th is about 5 mins or less away from me. I was disappointed to find out how much different the experience has been from the other natural grocers I have went to. My family goes quite a bit too sometimes every other day. This store never seems happy and some of the employees seem rude. There have been a couple nice ones. Ill be making the drive to Norman to get a better and happier experience.

I really enjoy shopping at Natural Grocers (any location). This location in South OKC is certainly a great place to shop. The store employees are always very helpful and friendly. Its rare that I walk in the store and not be greeted by more than one employee. When Im walking around looking for something, theres always someone available to ask if I am finding everything okay or need any assistance. This is definitely a customer service oriented store. As long as I live in the South OKC area, I will shop at this Natural Grocers.

Very friendly, lots of choices, great that it offers so much organic...but horrible prices.... like 3 to 4 times over priced.. some of the fruit and veggies looked awful..like why would you even buy it.. and most of the produce are from mexico... I really wanted. USA grown. And the jars of stuff..for example newmans own spaghetti sauce..was 3.49. At crest its 2.49. A lot of stuff is like that..even the organic produce at regular stores is cheaper than here.. I was really excited about going. :-(

Natural Grocers at 89th and Penn had all the products I was needing. Several employees smiled and said hello as I strolled the aisles. I was asked several times if I needed help finding anything. Cashier was very sweet and personable. Filled me in on up coming specials and asked me if I needed a NG bag or box. Told me I should stop by and sample a fresh healthy treat in their little cafe area. Loved the treatment I received and will be shopping there often.

BE SURE TO BRING YOUR OWN SHOPPING BAG.. (most of you probably already know that) 1st time impression: It was nice and clean. Workers were friendly. Stuff was kind of hard to find at times... but overall very nice. Will be back. oh and if youre expecting a "Whole Foods" type place -- youre probably going to be disappointed... I thought it had everything I needed minus the comerizalation and chaos of places like whole foods.

I enjoy shopping here. Ive never seen rotten produce. They are always helpful and I personally feel the prices are comparable if not better than whole foods. In addition, I enjoy the smallness of the store compared to huge grocery stores. The employees are always helpful and happy, this is a step above many grocery stores.

Ive shopped at the store this morning. The cashier is terrible, the lady cashier charged the item twice, and the other more than the advertised price. I pointed it out, and she corrected it and she didnt even say a word. Then threw the change and receipt at me. Ill not recommend this store.

No stars. Went in to use an almond butter coupon (and i was gonna buy other items too) found out i couldnt use the coupon i downloaded. Walked out and left all of my items on the conveyor belt. If you want new customers, you shouldnt advertise coupons to use and not let non members use them

Natural Grocers is much more affordable than Whole Foods and not as busy as Sprouts. The store doesnt carry a selection as large as either however. I like it because I c an get in and out quickly and usually I can get what I need at a decent price. They have pretty good sale prices as well.

These folks are fantastic. They have an ok selection with relatively high prices on some items ($14 for one pund of Strawberries!!?). I prefer whole foods but since this is the only place for health food in the moore area I go here instead.

I cant live without this place! Amazing produce that doesnt make me feel like Im being robbed. Its big enough to have a good selection without being so huge that it takes forever to finish shopping. Friendly staff is a bonus!

We love this store! Prices are very reasonable compared to a lot of other organic shops that gouge the heck out of you. Its very easy to get to and theres plenty of parking. Staff is very friendly and helpful too!

Im new but I am very impressed with all the organic produce. Compares favorably with other similar stores. And, Ive been in a lot of them. Clean and well organized.
