Every time I call the store NO ONE ever seems to answer the phone. (NOT a happy customer) but, when someone finally answers the phone, after (50 to 100 rings) the person on the other end does not seem to know about what products are in the store. Not happy with the atmosphere, along with the limited personnel who have been there for a while, and who knows about what products the store carries. The employees are very rude and could not be bothered helping a customer or answering his or her questions. I understand with limited personnel time is of the essence, but to ignore is not appreciated. I dont think I will come back to the store, it is not a nice place that I want to visit, or purchase from. If I cant get help, then I will just have to continue to order from Amazon. At least when I have a question I can call and the person on-the-other-end, will let me know if they have the product or if they will carry it in the future. I have not had any problems with Amazon. Shopping at the store on Sept 16th 2013 was easy and the fabrics from the website were accurate and in-stock. Asked for help and recieved it without hesitation, unlike a previous review I did not encounter any huffy attitude while being helped in fabric selection. The cutting table was another story. It was a burden for these ladies to help anyone. Im sure they get the same questions over and over everyday but to each customer they are new questions and do not call for the dramatic eye contact with a coworker response. I helped the lady cutting mine by folding the fabric once cut and she seemed to be much relieved to have some help...I had several fabrics in my stack. Another woman having fabric cut stood there looking down her nose at the lady cutting her fabric. While I 100% agree that service should be given with a smile, it should also be asked for with one! The cutting table ladies are not rude at this location, you should visit the stores in San Antonio youll leave feeling like youd rather weave your own fabrics!

After reading these reviews and having shopped at this store (in the fabric dept among others) the week of Thanksgiving, I felt compelled to tell the other side of the story. I have worked evenings and weekends after a fulltime professional job for a number of years. Most employees have a rapport with repeat customers and would walk on hot coals for them. But there are those who think they are special...can talk on the phone forever and then demand fast service because theyre late; have kids they think are darling but are really misbehaving serial killers in-the-making; come in with an attitude and dont expect to find another one. Well, guess what, folks. Its time for a reality check. Treat employees like you are wearing their shoes. If youre too little to manage that, use your feet to walk out the door. You nor your money will be missed.

I have been shopping at this location since it opened. I have always received good service. Their prices are good and the quality is excellent. Although some of the staff are somewhat dour in expression, they all consistently help me use my coupons to get the best value. If a person has been on their feet all day, I dont expect them to be ebullient at all times. I find the floor staff friendly and accommodating. Most important is that if they dont know, they say so. I have watched and participated in a search for a poorly described product for a woman who seemed to know what she wanted the product to do, but not what it really was. The two staff who worked at helping her were courteous and really tried to figure out what she wanted. I will stay a JoAnn fan.

I regularly spend about $300 a month on fabric and I wont be spending any mire at Joanns ion NW Expressway ever again. I travel a lot and would rather drive 100 miles than spent one more dollar here. The staff are consistantly rude. They treat you like they are doing you a favor cutting your fabric. There are jyst too many awesome fabric stores to enjoy shopping at and support. The only thing nice I can say is that ONE time I was getting fabric cut, ONE employee was friendly and helpful. Pretty sad since I have shopped for fabric in OKC for years.

The customer service or cashier ppl who ever answers the phone there is rude! She was completely unwilling to help me locate an item she practically wanted me to hang up. Apparently she doesnt know what items they carry in store nor whats only available online. Her attitude was "Hey Dont shop here" Clearly they dont want my money. I didnt necessarily care to shop in this over priced ass store anyway

Im not even sure if I could rate JoAnns with half a star. Customer service was nonexistent today. December and only 3 people in the store working. I was in line and only the 2nd in line and it took me over 30 min. to get waited on. So sad I used to like shopping here, but it gets worse each time I go. I think I will take my good business else where. no need to be aggravated each time I shop.

Love the fabric, but will no longer shop in this store. Employees need training in customer service. I have been extremely frustrated the last three visits. The employees talk about each other in front of customers. They play around too much and have been rude. Three strikes youre OUT!

Before I went to the Joann Store in OKC on N Rockwell. I had read a few of the comments here. I thought this can’t be true. Then I want to the store and found out, it is so true. The nicest employee in the store was a former Hancock’s employee.

I was there today and I wasnt able to get any fabric because their prices are a bit higher, but I did get a French curve a hip measured and a few other things. Everyone was really nice and pleasant and I loved it.
