If I could post zero stars I would! I do not live in Ohio and have never been to this particular Walmart. Maybe the store itself is great, maybe the shelves are stocked, the aisles are clean and the employees (99% of them anyways) are awesome HOWEVER.... I am disgusted at seeing a status on FB stating that a particular manager - I do not know her name, others have mentioned a woman named Robin, but I dont know for sure - has denied a retired Marine the ability to stand inside "her store" (what she called it) to promote and collect the WONDERFUL program that the Marines created - Toys For Tots - and instead has made him stand outside in all kinds of weather. First of all, lady are you insane? Are you THAT heartless? Are you an IDIOT? I am sure, almost positive, that retired Marine has already spent many days, weeks, possibly months outside in the elements in combat PROTECTING people like you, giving you the many rights you seem to take for granted, why in the hell would you make him do it when he is attempting to do something amazing that will affect so many children and their families? I have so many things I would like to say to you, but I am also a retired military member and am doing my best to maintain my military bearing and not be disrespectful to you, believe me it is very difficult at the moment. Do the right thing. Bring him inside, give him a chair - although he probably wont use it because he is way too proud - and make him comfortable. Bring him snacks, drinks. TREAT HIM WITH TOTAL KINDNESS. I have been in combat in countries that wouldnt allow you to walk down the street without a male escort and your body covered from head to toe in a burka, you should be eternally grateful for men like him who have made it possible for you to even work let alone be a manager of a store, in some countries you wouldnt even be allowed to go to school to learn how to work at any job. To the retired Marine - I really hope you are reading these reviews, I apologize if we are embarrassing you by bringing attention to the situation, I am sure you are perfectly OK with having to stand outside, it is part of what makes you a Marine - you are proud and humble and willing to accept any show of hospitality, even if it means standing outside in the rain. I salute you sir (sorry to call you sir if you are enlisted lol). I wish I was able to shake your hand and then stand right next to you, I would be honored. Semper Fi!!! Sharon M Wood, SSgt Ret. USAF

I went in to get an oil change and they were trying to add on wiper blades that I never asked for with out telling me. I told them I never asked for wiper blades. A few minutes later one of the mechanics came in and said your car is done but we cant get the keys out of your ignition but I left a window down... she walked away like it was no big deal. I pay and go check my car thinking it was something easy... well come to realize I cant turn my key to turn off my car and my battery is still on( Ive never had a problem before and I replaced the ignition because there was a recall) I had the manager come out and attempt to get my key out. No luck. Obviously I was upset and asked if there was a rule if something went wrong or broke they had to replace/fix it. He said no take it to a real mechanic... I finally took my car across the street and they said they would have to replace anything that they did.( talking about Walmart) I decided to go back and ask for my money back... the manager said legally they cant do that and I cant prove they messed up my car. Well finally I got my money back and he said Im not allowed to come back for any services. I added that the "real mechanics" said my safety lock on my transmission is on and the gear is stuck because they threw my car into park or turned my key off while it was still rolling... so I go home and my key still wont turn off and my car is still running. So now I have to put my car into neutral and slam it into park to turn off my car. Needless to say I will never go back to medina Walmart. Horrible service and no one wants to own up to anything they did and say it was not their fault.

WALMART HAS NERVE TO POST THEY CLEARED EVERYTHING UP CAUSE THEY MET WITH TOYS FOR TOTS (DIDNT DONATE A DARN THING EITHER OF COURSE I EXPECTED THAT ) AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED THEY CLEARED NOTHING UP!! ALL THEY DID WAS TRY TO SAVE THEMSELVES AFTER THEY SAW PISSED OFF CUSTOMERS!! WE SAW THE ORIGINAL RESPONSE WALMART DEFENDED THAT IDIOT MANAGERS DECISION SO DONT TRY TO FEED ME WITH A PLATE YOU WIPED POOP OFF OF, JUST CAUSE ITS GONE DOESNT MEAN ITS ALL CLEANED UP CAUSE IT STILL STINKS YOU CANT HIDE THAT WALMART IS DEAD TO ME!! I ONLY GAVE IT ONE STAR CAUSE I HAD TOO! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT ANY LOCATION AGAIN THIS IS WORSE THAN I THOUGHT THEY PRACTICE NO CLASS STANDARDS LIKE THE MANAGERS AND EMPLOYEES TAKING PICTURES MOCKING THEIR OWN CUSTOMERS ESPECIALLY MENTALLY ILL PEOPLE THE WEBSITE IS CALLED ... PEOPLE OF WALMART THEY DO THIS YET ACCEPT THE MONEY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY LAUGH AT!! THINK ABOUT IT THERE ARE ODD PEOPLE EVERYWHERE YET WALMART IS THE ONLY ONE WITH A WEBSITE I KNOW BECAUSE MY FRIENDS SON WORKED THERE FOR 2 YEARS HE TOLD US IT WAS THE EMPLOYEES AND A MANAGER IS THE ONE WHO STARTED IT TO BEGIN WITH LIKE I SAID IT IS OBVIOUS A LOT OF THE PEOPLE ARE MENTALLY ILL OR HANDICAP AND TO THEM ITS FUNNY!!

This store is terrible but most of the employees are a lot of fun and nice, the mannager wont let a vet get donations for toys for tots in the building just because they dont want their donations going to that charity, theyd rather get money at the register for whatever charity they probably dont even condone instead of material things. Me and my brother always come in here after usual hours. Nothing wrong with the staff just the mannager. Somtimes they dont let me ride the child sized bikes too but thats only a couple of the meen old man workers. The sweet old women that will laugh with us and let us just run arround and sceam are the ones i love. Also i must add the quality of the snow plow markers are fantastic my brother in law was able to throw one like a javelin 50 feet into the side of the building it was glorious. You can see the hole just above the cart entrance next to the produce entrance.

At the Medina, OH store today, I used the self-check-out area. I completely forgot to take the $40 cash back that I had requested. Called the store, spoke with Dawn, who took all my info. I then came back into the store to meet her, show her my receipt and the items purchased. She contacted someone who looked at the surveillance footage. Meanwhile, Jerry at self-check was very helpful in talking with us about what usually happens when cash is left behind. Dawn came back and said that Adam, the attendant when we were checking out, had found the money and put it away safely. I would like to thank these individuals for their exceptional customer service. They clearly care about their customers and are excellent at their jobs. Thank you to the Medina team. Jo Rinehart
