Rated 1 star just because I had to. If I could I would rate zero stars. I have never written a review before, but this experience has compelled me to do so. I placed an order with this florist a week in advance for a birthday for my mother-in-law. I called her at the end of the day to wish her a happy birthday. I asked her if she found any flowers. I had her walk all over the home in the cold of winter to find these. I didnt believe her, but they were not delivered. Nobody informed me that my request was never fulfilled and the money had already been taken out of my account. I called the next day and the lady (I want to say her name was Andrea or Angela) told me they werent delivered. Some excuse about having two different systems, no bosses in office and understaffing. I was livid. She offered to make a new, beautiful and bigger bouquet and accepted responsibility for their mistake. I didnt accept because I would still be fully charged for something a day late and with no remaining surprise factor. I cancelled my order for a full refund. The woman apologized and offered to send a small bouquet on my behalf because it was their error. I was appeased with that offer. However, I gave it a few more days, my mother-in-law never did receive any flowers and I never did get my refund. I called again (this is 6 days out now from my original request) and asked for a manager. The manager was apparently out of the office for the next month. I dealt with the same woman. Not until I bothered again did she submit for my refund. Still waiting to see this money get put back into my account. Dont order from this florist! Their customer service is extremely lacking. They dont keep their promises and you have to haggle them just to get a refund for a service never provided.

A few months ago, I stopped in to this small business on a whim. My wife and I were looking to get a surprise "birthday flower bouquet" for my mother. We were in an area we didnt know and, being Gen-Xers, "googled" local flower shops. Of the local shops that came up in our search, we specifically decided on Cottage of Flowers because of their high review rating on Google. Penny was who took care of us, and thats exactly what she did. She hand-picked FRESH ideas based on my descriptions of what Mom would like and she hit it out of the park for arrangements and pricing! Id recommend this company, and Penny in particular, to anyone looking for floral excellence.

I found Cottage of Flowers through a Google search. The shop is spacious with displays and lovely options from which to choose. An energetic and friendly associate was preparing a new window display when I walked in and she did not hesitate to stop her work and assist me. She quickly assessed what I needed and prepared a beautiful arrangement. Not only was she friendly and knowledgeable, she even walked me to my car and helped me pack the flowers so that they would not get damaged in transport. I like supporting locals shops whenever I can and I am adding this florist to my list of go-tos!

A friend of mine in Michigan sent me flowers and this shop delivered them! Oh so beautiful bouquet. My only complain is that i was not home when they were delivered, so they were left on my back porch unprotected, in the vase. Not in a box or even wrapped in plastic. Luckily it was not a windy day nor did the neighborhood cats attack it! Also I didnt recieve the packet that you pour into the water to keep flowers fresh. Otherwise, I am enjoying them. Thanks

Epic Fail! We picked this arrangement for my sisters funeral because she loved bears. This arrangement was not what I signed up for. Most people thought the flowers was a dog in bushes not a bear. On this crucial day I was dissapointed switching out carnations for Mums was a huge mistake. All they offered me was an apology which fell short of satisfaction. The first picture is what I thought I was ordering and the second is what I got.

I buy all of my flowers here. The staff is great and Im never disappointed with the arrangements. Ill never forget the time I barely missed their closing time and an employee was not only kind enough to let me in, but gave me EXCELLENT service. She helped me brighten the day of someone who really needed it and left me really impressed. THANKS AGAIN!

I stopped in here for a single bouquet and had an excellent experience. The shop is small but seems well stocked. The owner helped me pick out flowers and put together a beautiful arrangement for me herself, right before my eyes. Great local spot and nice personal touch when visiting. Very fair prices as well.

There are a lot of florists in this area, but Cottage of Flowers is the best. I like them because they have fresh and lovely-smelling bouquets that exceed my expectations for size, flower longevity, and overall presentation. Super friendly staff as well!

The do a wonderful job on flowers and different arrangements from funerals to weddings. Usually will help with anything you need. Penny has an eye for arrangements. Shes definitely got a gift for it.
