The store is fantastic. They give the same trade-in value as any other store but they have by-far the lowest prices. They carefully inspect each item and they dont take scratched discs. That means that everything you buy at the store is always in excellent condition. Ive been going to the store for 10 years, through all of its name changes and Ive never been disappointed. The fact that this woman who received the wrong discs but didnt realize it after a whole month shows how she, not the store is irresponsible. Please support them as they are a fantastic store. She also recommended buybacks and I feel obligated to say stay away from them. Reason being that they charge MSRP for used items (in other words they expect you to pay 200 dollars for a used rock band bundle. Terrible) except DVDs. The service at buybacks is horrid because the store is gargantuan yet they staff half as many workers as The exchange. If you dont mind waiting 45 minutes to buy a dvd then by all means go there.

Please make sure to look at everything you buy before you leave the store or you may get ripped off. I was sold the 1st season of Sopranos in the second season box. When I tried to give the 1st season back in exchange for the second season (which is for sale without a box, because I have it) I was told there is nothing that they can do because it happened outside of 30 days. I wasnt asking for money back, just the right season. To make a long story short, I got ripped off and so will the person who buys the first season. I spent a lot of money in this store through the years and they will never get another dime of my money. I will be going to the Buy Back store in the old Pier 1 building from now on.

Unlike their North Olmsted location, the service here is not good. They workers have actually been known to almost ignore you here. They are not friendly and they arent very interested in helping you. The selection at this store is okay. I honestly would rather travel 10 miles out of my way and go to their North Olmsted location to shop than go right down the street to this location (What does that tell you about the service?).

One thing, Tiffany is an idiot. Who will take home something and not look at it. Come one, another thing is that they mention that there is a 30 day return policy. Im sorry that you are an idiot and you didnt know that. They have the best items with the best deals. I prefer them over the one in sandusky, or north olmsted.Over there there price are ridiculous for some items that you can get for a good price in the elyria store.

Best store ever!!! Always have what I need, excellent service, awesome people. This is the perfect place to go for vinyls, CDs, games, and collectibles. Dont waste your time going anywhere else trust me. Been going here for 11 years now still the best store around!!!

This place is decent. The only knock about it is that sometimes it can become really crowded, and the service is hampered. I always find good deals on games Im looking for here. If its crowded, trade ins can become a long process.

Record exchange sucks!! The employees dress like homeless people and treat customers like crackheads Im not only surprised their still in business but appalled also. Real petty individuals I advise people to go to buybacks.

Horrible service. You get close to nothing for your trade ins, and they take forever in the process and when it comes to prices.buybacks is always lower this place is a rip off
