My apologies for originally having listed a rating that did not accurately reflect my experiences at breadhead! I dont even remember having rated the bistro (can a cell phone have a mind of its own?? Or perhaps my own butterfingers are to blame) but the willful Samsung seemed to have indicated a 3/5 stars. My sincerest apologies for any undue harm that rating may have caused! I greatly appreciate you bringing it to my attention. Since the birth of my daughter 6 months ago, my husband and I are always looking for quick and inexpensive "dates" or getaways on a weekend. One of our first outings was a trip to Breadhead for the most amazing cup of hot chocolate Ive ever tasted. Sometimes when wereturn sitting at home, we reminisce about that amazing cup of hot cocoa and realize we can take a 10 minute walk downtown and relive the amazingness. How fortunate we are in this small community to have a bistro that offers friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and delicious menu offerings. Thank you!

I stopped in on a friends recommendation and didnt regret it. The espresso cubano was well done, the flat white was tasty, and the (Fat Tuesday special) shrimp po boy topped with pulled pork was delicious...though it was the bread more than the innards that won over my taste buds! I will return here for sure, hopefully with my better half!

Great atmosphere! They keep a nice simple menu to keep you fed. The staff is very friendly. The spot is a little hard to find as the awning doesnt list the name of the merchant. Look for the BHB on the door.

The food here is delicious,mostly sandwiches and soup. The gourmet coffee is a must. The only problem I have here is that they mess up my order or forget about me. Good place to relax.

Best coffee shop in Dover and new Philly. You can tell when you walk in youre going to get a good cup of coffee. A six shot specialty coffee is five bucks.
