My family has ordered special occasion cakes from Ele several times. Usually I detest white cake, but I will admit Eles white cake is even better than their chocolate! The taste is unbeatable, and likewise with all the bakery items Ive tried. Even their new cafe is outstanding for lunch. Unfortunately I cant say the same for their service. While all the cashiers have been extremely friendly and helpful, the girl who took my most recent cake order was quite unpleasant. She couldnt answer any of my questions without help, simple things like decorating options and prices. I chose a design that was featured on the display cake, and was assured the colors could be adjusted to match the decor of my party. When I picked up the cakes, I waited 15 minutes before they were brought out. I had been assured on the phone that they had long been ready before I left to pick them up. I was so disappointed with the decorating, too. It didnt look anything like the display (which was an extremely simple design,) and the colors werent what I requested. The tops were not leveled off neatly, and overall had a very homemade look. The party theme and venue was very classy and chic, so I was a little embarrassed to serve them. At least they didnt last long, they were devoured quickly. Great bakery if youre only interested in taste, but dont trust the decorating to be equally as attractive.

The cake was pretty, but not at all what I had asked for. The customer service was horrible. I originally called and left a message for someone to call me. I did not receive a return call. I finally got through to order a cake. When I entered the store no one was there, then a man came from the back and gruffly said "Last Name". I asked for a receipt and the man said "It is already paid for" I did not receive a receipt. The cake must have weighed 20 pounds and was in a very large box (double sheet cake), yet no one offered to help me out with it. I am on hold with Ele customer service (as I type) to request a receipt ... 28 minutes and counting. FINALLY Ryan answered. He was very helpful, but sounded like he was being timed. Given the fact that Ele is advertised as a very reputable bakery, customer service should be excellent. I wont be ordering from Ele again.

I have always had great service and amazing cakes from Ele Cake Company. I do give precise directions on what colors and design elements Id like to have on my cakes because I know that I like everything to go with the table decorations and the napkins. I always think that Im the only one that can see what my vision is, so I shouldnt expect the sales staff to automatically know everything I want. They all semm to apperciate the information and thank me each time for bringing a drawing. I appreciate their patience and they never disappoint me.I also realize that if they do a good job, they are going to have lots of people in the store when I go in ot order a cake so I allow plenty of time to place my order. Birthdays are important at my house so I plan ahead. However, I have had events come up at work at the last minute and Ele Cake did a fabulous job on those cakes too.

I have used Ele on several occasions, never had a bad experience, maybe my expectations slightly lower than Melissa, DaytonSoccorMom and some of the others that chose to leave a bad review, because you had to wait on hold, or the top wasnt even, or best yet, the colors didnt match your decor........ REALLY? I have an idea, why dont you make and decorate your own cake? If you are such a good judge of what is the correct way to make & decorate a cake, it should be no challenge for someone of your own greatness to make your own. I will continue to buy from this local establishment, because 1) their product is wonderful in both looks and taste, 2) because I suck at making and decorating cakes.

This was the first time we had visited Eles place of business and it seemed very nice at first. They were nice and comforting but there product just isnt there oppose to the other well known bakeries. Eles cupcakes and cakes in general are very dry and not very moist, as well as there decorations are just thrown together terribly. To top everything off I recently just found out that majority of there sweets come in a box, which is a big turn off. I would definitely choose a different bakery next time such as The Cake Shop, I have had a pleasant experience with them every single time and everything thing they have is delicious.

Terrible experience! Set up an appointment, forgot which location I set it at some called to ask which location. I could not get an answer from any location they just kept transferring me to someone else who would then hang up on me. I called 11 times and got no where. Finally got someone who could help me she asked my name and told me yesterday my appointment was at the west Carrollton location at 11. So we get there and they tell me that I dont have an appointment at all. Then proceeded to argue that I never called to schedule an appointment. So all in all very upsetting and disappointing and unprofessional!

We used Ele Cake Co for our wedding in October. They made the whole process fun and easy! The tasting was awesome and you take home almost a whole cake for free! The flavors we chose for fall for our cupcakes were unbelievably delicious! All of your wedding guest loved them! It was easy to communicate with them when we needed to make changes or add additional cakes to our order. They knew exactly what we wanted and how we wanted it set up. I would recommend all of my friends and family to use Ele Cake for any occasion. They are AMAZING! Thank you Ele Cake Co we will be back!

I hosted my nephews tenth birthday party and needed the perfect cake. We ordered a very unique cake with a lot of special instructions and it came out BEAUTIFULLY! The butter cream icing was the best Ive ever had. The party was outside at a local park, and I was really worried the icing wouldnt hold up in the heat, but it did- the colors didnt bleed- even though the decoration was mostly black on white! Robyn did such a great job decorating this delicious birthday cake that I decided to have Elé make my wedding cake!

We used ele Cake Co for our wedding this past weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Not only was the cake delicious but they delivered everything on time and set up our cupcake display. They are a little more on the pricy side but you get what you pay for! We also get a fresh one year anniversary tier free - which my husband and I are very much looking forward to as opposed to eating stale cake!

Wish they never moved from their small shop!! Ever since they have stale cupcakes and other small items, like the brownies are stale. Everything in the cooler tastes like the cooler! When they had their small shop they did not put their cupcakes in a cooler and they tasted so fresh and delicious, even their buttercream tastes soooo different. I miss the Taste of Elegance days!!
