Whenever I watch Pulp Fiction, it makes me want to go out to a breakfast/diner kind of place, and Donut Connection was the only one open at 5am. It was a magical experience. The menu is bare-bones, but the coffee, fritter, and egg bagel that I had did the trick just fine. I wish they had mugs instead of styrofoam for the coffee. The lady working the joint was very nice. I felt like a noble. My favorite part was the atmosphere that only this sun-bleached establishment could convey. I was the only customer there at such an early hour, and the peaceful silence I enjoyed while watching the dawn roll in through the wall of windows was one of a kind. For 14 years I drove by this little sanctuary without a second thought, and Im glad I visited. Ill be back! ♥

The Biker bar of donut shops! I was so unimpressed with this location. My first visit will be my last. The moment I drove up before I even left the car I had customers (more or less loitering locals) from inside starring at me through the windows. I walked in - stares continuing - to find they had no donuts available. It was not even noon yet. The woman behind the counter apologized. I got into my car to leave and was starred down by one of the locals at the counter as I drove away. I will not return to this donut shop. Should be mowed over. There are much better places to purchase donuts and coffee in the Falls.

Do not go here expecting dunkin donuts! (Annoying to read reviews with that expectation mentality) This is an old school donut dinner type of shop. Yes youll probably even find a rough local or two milking a cup of coffee. If that bothers you, you have my pity. If, on the other hand, that isnt a problem for you, then you will have the pleasure of the best donuts in the Akron area. Enjoy!!
