I purchased two cookie jars online because the store was out of stock. I was told I could have them shipped to the store for free but when ordering learned that World Market had suspended shipping for store pickup because of the holiday volume. So after paying for shipping to my home, I received two ceramic Mason jar cookie jars and an owl utensil jar. All had pin holes in the glaze, and one cookie jar had both bare spots and runs in the glaze, making it impossible to give as gifts. I was on the verge of buying a room sized rug, but after seeing the shoddy quality of the merchandise they shipped. To return the items, I would have return shipping deducted from my refund, so I am penalized for World Markets lousy quality control and shoddy workmanship.

Love World Market! Free online membership has great coupons and deals. Like the variety of international goodies for use in our bed and breakfast columbus. Wine selection is wonderful and beer selection seems to have increased. Of course, coffees and teas are always a joy to sample. Location is easy to get to with ample parking. Fun place to walk around and admire the random options. Some things a bit pricey for a campus-area store, but the eclectic and ethnic variety in the candy/food isles make it a must check-out destination - especially if looking to kill some time while waiting for pizza or a movie in the area.

Its a little smaller than some of the World Markets so sometimes they dont have what you are looking for. The location is very close to the OSU campus so for some that is a plus. A good place to buy gifts.
