Terrible tasting and a dog was IN THE BAKERY!! First off I have to say I am a cupcake lover. So Ive had my fair amount of them and have been to many different places to try them. Which is why I went to Colossal. But... Im warning you - Dont waste your money! I bought 4 of them for me and my family. I got in my car and took a bite out of mine, the Vanilla. It was so dry and tasted like I ate straight almond extract. Seriously- almond extract! It was awful! Thats when I thought, I should try a bite out of another one, in hopes it just happened to be the Vanilla one they gave me (though they said the were made fresh that morning). So I tried the yellow with fudge- unfortunately, again it was dry and terrible in taste. I was upset I spent my money on these. I was about to toss them and I thought, no let me taste the other two. So I just took a bite out of the other two and the results were the same. Dry, and awful. I guess I shouldve known better because the owner was there talking to a friend of hers ( you could tell by the conversation) that had her dog with her!! Yes - In the Bakery! This was not a seeing eye dog either. Never ever again will I go there! The ladies behind the counter were nice but I will not spend that much money on nasty tasting cupcakes again! You have been warned.

Cute decor and location... Thats the only thing great about this place, even at that it was dirty. I took my daughter in there during a Sunday afternoon and was thoroughly appalled at the filth on the seating, floors and tables. I chalked it up to maybe a busy morning, and proceeded to order us cupcakes anyway. I ordered the Raspberry Lemonade and my daughter the Confetti cupcakes. The Raspeberry Lemonade frosting tasted like pure butter, which concerned me as it didnt come from any type of refrigerated display. The staff didnt seem happy to be there, and I had to ask if there was filling, etc. in the cupcakes I was ordering. While I was being rang out, I noticed that a hallway was being used a storage area and way roped off. Not only was it an eyesore but, I imagine that its some sort of code violation. Colossal Cupcakes, you have a great location which is likely the only reason you stay in business. I wont be returning, nor would I suggest that anyone waste their time or money.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! When I walked in I was not greeted at all, I was not even acknowledged. The girl behind the counter (lucky her I cant remember her name now) just sat there on her cell phone. I walked over to the counter to look at the cupcakes and she never once looked up. In fact she actually took her phone and went to the back for like 2 or 3 min. When she finally came back she just stood and the register looking annoyed and still never said anything word. I ask about the breakfast cupcakes and in a very annoyed tone she listed the ingredients. I ordered a chocolate peanut butter cupcake and paid. She never said thank you or have a good evening. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! The cupcake are not very cheap and they are mediocre at best. It was very dry and rather flavorless. I do not recommend stopping here for any reason.

I placed an order on Tuesday & told the lady I was speaking to that I would be there to pick up on Sunday. I get there and there is a sign on the door that says "we will be open in 30 mins". I called in and asked when they would be open because I needed to pick up my order. The young lady says that theyre "closed but not really closed". I tell her the name of my order & she says they cant find it. They offered to bake my order but I declined because there was zero parking and no indication of how long it would take. I was very disappointed because I was looking forward to sharing some very cute cupcakes with my family for my birthday. Colossal Cupcakes has always been a place I wanted to visit because of how cute thei r cupcakes are on their Instagram page but I dont think I will because of this experience and the other reviews from other patrons.

Normally pretty good...but gone down hill recently. Not worth the money. Seemed like day-old bakery...dry cake and frosting seemed like it was made a day or 2 ago. Used to put a fair amount of bacon bits on their Sunday morning flavor....this time, both em them maybe 3 tiny little bits and thats it. Used to be an expensive bit great but not so little treat...are still expensive and are now a not so great not much of a treat. And call me old school...but when I need a receipt for the $30+ order for work...really annoying one cant get a simple receipt at the counter. You have to give them your email or cell# so they can email it or texted it to you....and they still dont. Bout a week later, still no receipt. Glad I tipped em for so so service and crappy expensive cupcakes:-(

Dont let their prime location fool you into believing that paying $45 for 12 cupcakes is logical by any means. Even if they were actually good, theyre still overpriced. That being said, cost aside, youre not going to get what anywhere near what youre expecting. They look delicious, but trust me when I tell you not to judge a book by its cover. The frosting tasted like artificially sweetened shortening and coated my entire mouth in oil. The cupcake itself had burnt edges, and was literally the dryest piece of bakery Ive ingested in my 30 years of being alive. Im legitimately not exaggerating whatsoever. Trust me, Im equally as disappointed as you are. Dont waste your time or your money.

Dont do it!!!!!! If I could give this place a 0 I would, took my family out for the day.. We stop in..the place is cute.. But the young girls dont greet you, they dont even thank you no eye contact nothing!!!! Now down to the cup cakes.. Visually they all look great! Nice presentation we order 4 which were so over priced! We order lemon, Oreo cookie, chocolate and carrot, the taste was horrible, dry, stale no flavor, you couldnt tast any butter nothing just the worst cupcakes I ever tasted!!!! Just blan over priced cute cup cakes! We tried each one, one bite, politely walk over and put them in the trash can. Yuck!!! They would be better making store boxed cake and selling it! Horrible

When i first went there about a year ago I thiugh they were one of the best cupcakes I had in a long time. Then I went again week later on my lunch because I work near it. I had another one it was so dry my co-worker got one and it was filled with all artificial flavors. Then we tried it again about a month later same thing. My frosting tasted like butter it was so nasty. Then this past fri I went bc tge last time I was there was last year. I figured I would give it another shot. Once again I was so disappointed this time was the Oreo dirt with the gummy worm. Sad to say that was the best part of my cupcake. It was so dry and the frosting was disgusting. I will never go back.
