A great place to stop in and peruse the books and magazines. They have a large selection of Life magazines back to the 1930s. Ive bought several as gifts purchasing the appropriate magazine for the recipients date of birth. Ive also purchased several maps from an 1880s atlas and had them framed. Friendly service and fair prices. I always stop in when Im in town. Highly recommended.

So. Many. Books. Theres a basement, the main level and the second/third floor, all jam-packed with books and magazines of a variety of topics and genres and ages. If youre a bibliophile, plan to spend quite some time perusing the sections and shelves. They also offer bookbinding services, which are based in the basement.

DS Ferns

A great collection of books -- for bibliphiles. This bookshop is tucked away and doesnt seem to get much traffic which is a pity as it has 5 floors (from floor to ceiling) of books, books on every topic. You can spend hours here. Its far better than any other Cincinnati attraction

Not just a used bookstore, but a treasure chest of rare, old and unique books and magazines at decent prices. Be sure to explore the second and third floors for even greater bargains including a $1 table of books. Great selection of "coffee table" books for gifts, too.

Great selection of books. So many categories that theres something for everyone. Each of the four floors is packed with books and they have many bargains ($1 tables, $2 paperbacks). One could spend hours in here!
