Chuck Phaler and his team of roasters are hands down the best at bringing out the subtle flavors of each type of coffee. This local roaster could teach some national chains a thing or two about how to roast and serve coffee. Pick some up and compare. You will never go back to another coffee again.

Getting immersed in the whole process of coffee roasting, cupping and brewing was just wonderful. La Terza gives you a snippet into the wonderful world of coffee with certified coffee experts in the industry. Location might be a little intimidating but, once in, you dont wanna leave. Check it out.

Cool local startup, roaster in this industrial area by Rivertown Brewery. They have a garage door that is open in good weather and hip industrial styling. Oh yeah, and the coffee is smooth and bold. If you are a coffee fan, this is well worth the trip and a daily detour on your way to work.

Good coffee, nice people. Gentleman at the bar was very helpful in explaining and assisting me to find something he thought Id like. Ground the coffee for the me on the spot. Tasted amazing. It is artisan coffee so it is a bit more than traditional coffee, but Id say it is worth it.

I am a big Starbucks fan, but this is the best coffee I have ever had - just bought two pounds whole bean of the Sustainable Joe; it is a bold coffee, yet incredibly smooth - really puts Starbucks to shame.
