I chose to go here because of the volume of google reviews and the overall ranking even though it is 2 hours from where we live. Even though we did not find a wedding set as I was hoping...our trip totally paid off. My son has just gotten into coin collecting and brought along his collection to value check. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. A lady offered to help me at the jewelry counter after I had a chance to look a bit. A man behind the arms counter noticed my son was studying the money cases and asked if we needed help. My son was hesitant but Corey was very kind, encouraging and patient with him. He also included in the conversation, my teen daughter, who had been just along for the ride, but ended up making purchases along with my son. We were very impressed with our experience here and plan to return when my kids save their goals in allowance. Thank you Corey for not crushing my sons excitement when his collection was face value but realistically and knowledgeably embracing these young learners. My son is already planning his next purchase of coins and my daughter now collects paper money and has a hobby she is excited for.

Walked in with a few items to sell. A tall guys comes out from the back and said I am not interested without looking at the products inside the boxes. The short gentleman with the glasses behind the counter was more professional. Then there was a third guy there with glasses and black hair looking at my watches. That guy couldnt tell the difference between a modern watch and a vintage watch. He picked up my Penny Pocket watch and said it was modern. A PennyPocket watch is a watch soliders during WWII and the Korean War would purchase cause of the price. The statues I brought in, was a Transformer Bust which is numbered 1 out of 1000 and autographed by the artist, I was given an offer of 6.00. (They never took it out to look at it). And my Star Wars Statue numbered 435 out of 7000 with COA and autographed by Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor and Ray Park, wasnt even given a quote because they couldnt find it on ebay. Manager should train there people on opening up boxes and looking at the products and not the outside of the box.

Very poor management. I went in to purchase a wedding band set for our 30th anniversary. I picked out a set but wanted to get the wifes blessing so I told the manager I would bring her back to see the set. He (Mark Van Pelt) told me to call and they would set the rings aside for me. They did not mention any money down or anything. I called back and talked to Mark at 3;41pm and told him we would be in at opening or before noon to make a decision. We got there soon after opening at 10:30am and the rings had been sold. I was very upset at their dishonesty and let it be know before I left. Mark told me not to come back, you can guarantee that. Do not give this place your business.

I took my tv. It was going for $290 on ebay, amazon used. I drove 25mins there and they insulted me with a $20 offer. They had a tv kind of like mine same size but no brand name for $179. Mine was a newer sony bravia 32". The guy told me he would sell it for $100. Why would the sony bravia sell for $100 but the no name brand tv that was same size but nowhere even close to as good as mine was sellin for $179. I went to an akron pawn shop and pawned it for $95. Cashland, any other pawn shop i highly recommend over this place. It is a new nice pawn shop. But thats about it. O yeah i even called them on the phone before i went there. Total waste of time and gas.

Love this place! I just bought a Ibanez SR500 bass guitar here.It was almost in mint condition too! The sales accociate Stacy was so kind and helpful on the phone and in person! I ended up purchasing this wonderful instrument for $350 cash,around $300 cheaper than I wouldve paid for the exact instrument at a music store! And, they even gave me a nice Roadrunner hardshell case and Dunlop strap with it too! (Which are defitally not cheap cases and straps either!) This is the nicest pawn shop I have EVER been in! They sell everything from instruments all the way down to jewelry,guns,electronics and appliances!

Corrupt Tempest

Walked in unknowingly 15 mintues before close. Who the hell would guess a buissness in this busy part of town closes as early as 6? We were practically thrown the hell out. Never in my life had I been that disrespected in a store, shooed away like pests just because we didnt know. We were beginning to walk out on our own at a fast pace but apparently we werent fast enough. This place must dislike buissness. Wont be going there again. Besides they close legitimately right after most people are getting off work, duh. Not going to call off work to just look at over priced used items.

I phoned at 4:40 PM on Wednesday, 6/28/2017. After being transferred to the guitars and gear expert, I inquired whether they had any guitar cases available for purchase. The employee said "Nope!" and hung up on me while I was trying to thank him for his time. I called three other similar businesses with the same question, and was treated cordially and courteously by the employees at each place. I may have caught him at a bad time, or on a bad day, but just one experience like this can cost you a repeat customer.

I came in to check out a watch they had listed on Craigslist, and when I arrived, they told me it had just sold. Something about the way they said it made me feel like they werent telling the truth. So, I bought a different watch almost a month ago...And the Craigslist ad for that one is STILL live today. So, the lesson is they really dont pay attention to their online listings, and they dont care at all if you drive all the way up there for an item that they sold a month ago but never bothered to take offline.

I was lied to and disrespected just called and asked a simple question that the lady misunderstood then told me no pawn shop would answer my question after a couple minutes of be rudly cut off and interupted i hung up and called another shop that KINDLY helped me with the very same question . then called back to speak with the manager who was standing there listining and said she was not being rude. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON .

Came in to check out the Christensen line of rifles and sell some old silver coins and look around. The store is beautiful and staff are very helpful and friendly. This place is way more than just a pawn shop. Who would have thought I could sell my coins and then find brand new high end rifles, optics, and hand guns as well. The used gun prices are the best Ive seen in the area. Ill be back for sure

I dealt with Echo and Stacy in regards to getting a set of pots and pans!!! Both ladies had shown extreme customer service!!! It was like working with a family member!! They were very polite and friendly!!! I am definitely going back to get 2 more sets one for my friend and daughter in law!!! And I will continue to shop there!!! Thanks for the GREAT SERVICE!!
