Get more people working registers!! It is 4:00 on a Saturday and there are at least 5 people waiting in line at the dismal 7 registers open out of 17 total registers. This is the second time this week that I have gone elsewhere after seeing the length of lines. The only way a grocery store makes money is if people can pay, more staff would be a great asset. Of the staff that are here, they are generally very helpful and go above to answer my questions. In some cases they are more kind than knowledgable, but I would prefer that to the alternative. The employees that are here are why this review is 3 stars and not one.

I cant see how anyone rated this store anything over a 2 star rating. There is never enough staff, many of them are rude and the produce is always old along with other fresh foods. I just called to ask the hours for a certain dept and they never answered so I called back and "Cindy" raised her voice and said "I told you they were open till 9." In reality she said she wasnt sure and said she would patch me to them. This is a small incident that depicts this store. The best workers are the handicapped people that are assigned to the carts. They are so nice and Giant Eagle wont allow them to take tips either. Joke.

The pharmacy is terrible and gives me nothing but a headache. They never receive my prescriptions in real time and they are always behind. I have to call my doctor several times to verify that my medication was sent and they are always out of medicine or supplies My last straw was the attitude from the pharmacist. She was very rude about taking my new insurance information over the phone. Long waits, long lines? No thanks. Ill be taking my business somewhere else. The store lost another customer because of the pharmacy. Its sad because I love shopping there and I love the store just not the pharmacy.

What has happened to this place? Have robots taken over the cash registers? Where in the world are all the employees? The women who work at the deli need to start treating guests with respect. I am sick of seeing anger and hatred in their work. I have stopped ordering from the deli after waiting and waiting until without hearing anything from the worker what they were doing. This place needs better employees or needs to start making it easier for new people to get hired. The only thing I like about this place is that the deals are pretty good on some days.

Having 1 register and no self check out open at 6am is bad. This is every time I go in. Needless to say, I only shop there for the items Save alot does not carry. Every associate I encounter looks like a deer caught in head lights. I dont even bother asking them anything. And it never fails, someone gets in front of me just to buy cigarets...thats a good 5 minutes for the hike way over yonder. Honestly I dont like going there. Biddulph location. There are 2 cashiers I see frequently who are good though. Next time I see them I will take note.

My wife and I used to shop here all the time, but even this door has seem to be going down. There used to be lots of friendly cashiers working there, someone you could talk to about a price if needed. Now they have everything self service, no human contact, more jobs gone. But yet their prices are getting higher and higher. Well, for you drinkers they have a so-called bar area where you can actually order a drink sit at a table while someone else shops for you, not bad. And as always you have the state store.

The other day? I went to Giant Eagle. to purchase a few items, to make a recipe after. I came home to prepare the recipe. I discovered that there was something wrong with, some of the things that. Ive purchased for the ingredients, and discuss the dilemma, with the store manager. let me tell you despite, the store was full of customers. Giant Eagle still provide me. with the best! customer service*.

Customer Service helped my Dad avoid falling prey to a PHONE SCAM, asking him to buy 9 $500 prepaid credit cards to "use for bail" for his grandson. The clerk talked my Dad out of buying the cards and made him promise not to go to any other Giant Eagle to buy them. We are very grateful for the clerks warning and the stores show of concern for the elderly.

I can easily get my groceries here the bad part is waiting in line to pay. Only two cash registers open. Makes me feel like Im at Walmart. Out 20 registers only one or two are open.
