Today, i felt what humiliation feels like. Me, my wife and my daughter walked in jcpenny first time in a day knowing they have some promotional offer going on, couple of ladies at the door treat me so badly that i never felt it before. they accused me to keep coming back to get as many coupons as possible.. on asking to check camera or to call some supirior, lady kept walikng away from as if i am some kind a threat to her. Manager was nice to resolve the matter but i never heard word of apology from the lady who started all this. At last, i would say, even if someone keep coming back for coupons, have full proof system to rectify those rather than relying upon stupid employee to take a guess and humiliate some honest customer.. google made me to rate it otherwise i wouldnt have given it even a single star.

WORST EVER ONLINE EXPERIENCE!!! I did almost all of my shopping online with all the key stores and I have NEVER had an nightmare experience like I just had with JCP online. They sent my order to an incorrect address then I had to call 3 times - long long long wait times - to straighten it out and they STILL screwed up my refund. I finally got in touch with a manager through their chat and I got my refund a week and a half later because an agent screwed that up too!!! Never ever again will I buy or order anything from JCPennys!!!

Sales are not really much of a bargain, its always sloppy looking in the store (clothes piled up and placed on wrong racks) - I used to think of Penney s as a decent department store with reasonable pricing but they have dropped in quality and increased in pricing -- I only gave it 2 stars because the cashiers were very nice

I stood in line at the register for half an hour with only 5 people in front of me and 4 registers open. They make everything so confusing by marking everything up then saying its 40%. One of the worst shopping experience of my life. Ill never go there again. I do however like my tux.

Its ok but it is too small. I used to have to go to Chapel Hill for clothing sale items to have enough selection. They seem to be doing better. The purse department is very small now. They have added large appliances. And the Liz line for Penneys is cheaply made. So disappointing.

Guy cashier was chewing and CRACKING gum in my face while ringing me out. Then got completely bent out of shape when I asked to keep the dress hanger. I was so outdone I left the dress and the hanger with that obnoxious cashier

It was bad because the $50 gift card I got for Christmas rung up as $25 and then asked me if I had a receipt, for my gift and that they were not going to do anything about it. I wont be going back.

Its always Grandma looking stuff in the womens Dept. Lets get over the Alfred Dunner and bring back something like Cabin Creek. More casual looking clothing instead of dressy
