Horrible experience! I had an old work laptop that I hadnt used because of a cracked screen and login credentials I couldnt use. February 2016 I took it to the Computer Garage to replace the screen and wipe my computer clean. Had my laptop back within a couple days plus He gave me a discounted price, so I was happy. Well in April I take it back because it appeared the period button was getting stuck, text was erasing during emails & othe documents and loud beeping when I rebooted. After a couple of days, they call to tell me I had viruses & it would be $125 to fix. I agreed to the fix but Told them I couldnt pick it up until the 16th of the month. It was the 4th when I dropped it off. i go to pick my laptop up on the 16th and the guy says it wasnt ready and that I needed to have my system wiped clean AGAIN Plus a new keyboard but that the viruses were removed. The original symptoms were still there even after he supposedly removed the virus. By the 16th, he had had my laptop for almost 2 weeks, so I asked him why hadnt he informed me of the additional work needed AND & that it wouldnt be ready on the 16th - his response was "because he had other customers & was busy" and he didnt think i was actually coming on the 16th since people always say a date and dont follow through! Wtf?? After 30 minutes of back & forth. I tell him to fix it. (Not to mention I had just gotten my laptop wiped clean in February, why was it needed a second time just a few short months later?!!) Several days later he calls to say all it needed was a keyboard and I just need to cover the $125 to cover the cost to remove viruses. I refused and after a month of disagreement, we agreed that I would pay $45 for the used keyboard. Well today I picked up my computer and within 15 minutes of having it, I have had the "Blue Screen Death", my web pages wont load properly, and I keep getting authenticity errors. I cant go to any of the websites I normally go to. If he "removed" viruses - then why is it doing this. Im very disappointed. I feel bamboozled and taken advantage of. I cant use the laptop in its current condition and dont know what to do. At this point I may as well purchase a new laptop. Needless to say, next time Ill pay real computer experts to fix my computers. Shame on them.

My computer kept crashing. It said "bad pool header." I took it to the Computer Garage, they said "Its got viruses on it" and charged me $170 to fix it. I got it back, turned it on, 30 minutes later it crashed and said "bad pool header". All they did was run it through some antivirus programs. These people probably have no idea what is actually wrong with my computer or how to fix it. If youve "got viruses" then I guess the Computer Garage can help you, but anything more complicated than that, youll be wasting your money. I wasted $170 for them to NOT fix my computer.
