If you want personal attention, clear explanations, and stellar service - and a very reasonable price for all of that, Computer Fixx is where you want to take your business. From the moment I spoke to Susan on the phone about my computer problems until the moment Glenn explained what he had done and I paid my bill, my experience with Computer Fixx was wonderful. Given that this began when I got the dreaded "blue screen" on my laptop and that I depend on that computer for my livelihood, thats saying quite a lot. By phone on a Saturday morning, Susan clearly explained the companys pricing and the likely amount of time it would take to resolve my problems. I took my laptop to them, and Glenn called around 3 p.m. to let me know it was not salvageable. He had, however, been able to save ALL my files and would be glad to install them on a new laptop if Id purchase one and bring it to him. Id rather have a root canal than go computer-shopping. Glenn told me exactly what specifications to look for, so off I went. I called him twice from two different businesses to inquire if the machine I was considering was both suitable and a good buy. Finally, around 6 p.m. on that Saturday, I delivered my new laptop to Glenn. On Monday morning, my new laptop was ready for me, with all my files installed, as well as security and anti-virus programs. Glenn walked me through the use of those programs and explained what I needed to know about the new laptop. Both Glenn and Susan were friendly, personable, reassuring and patient throughout this entire process. If everyone provided service in the way that they do, this world would be a better place. I give Computer Fixx the highest possible recommendation. (There ought to be 10 stars for this one.)

After Glenn repaired my laptop quickly and at the lowest cost possible, he warned me that the repair was only temporary. He showed me a refurbished Sony laptop he was working on getting ready for sale and said that would always be an option when mine crashed. I got all my important pictures and documents off the laptop and then a week later, it went black again. Contacted Glenn about a refurbished laptop he had shown me and it was still available. He gave me an amazing deal and I had to come back on and say how happy I am with this new laptop. Ive had it for a few months and its perfect for us. He had everything I needed, already installed, including malware software that I can run as often as I need to. I couldnt be more pleased with my experience with Computer Fixx and would recommend them to anyone. They are an A+ in my book!! Remember, even if they cant fix your computer, they might have one refurbished for sale. Give them your business before you go to a big name store.

In one word: Excellent! I had been taking my old XP desk top computer to Glenn for 3 years who had fixed several problems and kept it running. As a new, fledgling online store, my budget is tight. Fortunately for me, I discovered Computer Fixx. When the hard drive finally crashed, Glenn was able to provide me with a refurbished one at a price I could afford. When I thought my laptop hard drive was dead due to an accident, he discovered it was not. He gave it a tuneup but at a cost to him by forgoing selling me a refurbished laptop which would have given him more money. I bought it anyway. And now I have two laptops with current MS software. I also now have mobility and reliable computer tools. Glenn is very knowledgeable in computer software and hardware; provides fast and professional service; and equally important is ethical. If asked to recommend his service, I would do so in a heartbeat!

Computer Fixx is THE place to go for any and all your computer issues! My business laptop died last week and I called around a few places for repair. Computer Fixx was the only place that answered my call and Susan was so helpful and said I could bring it in immediately. Glenn called me back and explained in detail the problem it was having and the solution it needed. He even quoted me an overall price for everything. He had it back up and running with a new hard drive in no time and I paid exactly what he quoted, no hidden labor charges or anything! I am a retired executive of blue cross and currently run my own consulting firm here in Wilmington. When I first started my company, I set up a computer system in my home office. I kept having problems with it and had several different computer repair companies try to fix my equipment. None of them had any success. I found an advertisement for Computer Fixx and that is when I met Glenn. On his first visit he was able to fix my problems in short order. His pricing was more reasonable than any of his predecessors. He not only fixed the problems, but also provided me with tips that improved my operation. Unprofessional and not knowledgeable. Took computer in for diagnostic after self testing some hardware and running software. I was unable to determine exact cause of faulty computer but suspected it was either CPU or graphics related. I asked whether he could do a diagnostic with spare parts to determine if it was hardware related and he said no problem. On pick up day he said he thought it might be CPU related but wasnt sure, I asked him whether he put a working cpu in to test like I asked and he replied that he didnt have one to try right now so he just ran some software....He then wanted to charge me $120 for telling me the info that I provided him with in the first place. This place is a scam.

I searched for a place to leave a positive review for Computer Fix of Wilmington, NC. I was so scared of loosing everything due to a virus on my laptop. His prices are extremely low compared to other places in town and he is very thorough in his work. I left my laptop there on a Friday at 5 pm and picked it up on the following Monday at 4 pm. He fixed over weekend and I lost nothing! He also explained where the virus came from, why my anti-virus missed it, and how to avoid future issues. He helped me with some start up issues (completely extra work). He even cleaned my laptop screen! Customer service like this is rare these days and if your having computer problems CALL THIS GUY! thanks
