The building material side of this restore is great. However, the furniture side was a huge let down. The manager is not someone who is willing to work with her customers and is not doing a favor to the charity by her behavior. I bought a reclining chair and when I returned to pick it up a week later, the foot rest wasnt laying flush and after shoving it in, it would still pop back with one finger to the back rest. I asked for store credit and they could resell the chair but the manager wouldnt hear reason. I overpaid for it in the first place, $130, because I thought it was very sturdy and would last with our two young children. The state it is in now, will not last. Even if I just changed my mind on the color and hadnt picked or up yet, it would make better business to trade in or do store credit to keep my patronage and still sell the chair and make that money. Oh well. I have two stars because the building with building materials is great. Zero to one star for the overpriced furniture store managed by a poor business sense manager.

Well organized, decent prices in one building, outrageous in the other. The low rating comes from the fact that like every other business we visited in Hendersonville they have no restrooms for paying customers. Seriously? If you go to Hendersonville, pee before you go because apparently the only place in town to do that is at the courthouse. No kidding. Really. Im serious. (Shhh, now dont tell anyone, but the Habitat for Humanity in Asheville will let you use their bathroom - in fact, they advertise the soap they stock the washroom with, which is awesome, BTW, is for sale at checkout. I routinely buy a jar of that handyman soap. Its great). Oh, almost forgot, the Habitat for Humanity in Hickory lets you use their restroom and so does the one in the Forest CityRutherfordton area. I guess they want your "repeet" business.:-)

This is a great restore. There is something for everyone. The furniture side has some very nice quality made furniture but they also have an upper level that has lower priced pieces. Their tool side has a lot of very nice items too. There again the quality pieces are priced accordingly. These are not junk stores. They receive some nice donations. In fact their inventory turns pretty quick from what ive seen. Everyone is nice and you can tell they all get along with each other. Both stores are clean and organized...

Some things are good deals others are very well used and could have been less. I understand its to help build houses for people in need, however those of us who shop here are also in need or would be buying it new elsewhere! The prices have definitely changed because a few years ago we shopped here all the time for our home, now we rarely go....

Called to try and donate a houseful of furniture. Felt like I was bothering her. Was offered only a 6 hour window on one day a week based on my location. Called Hospice who was kind, appreciative, and offers a flexible pick-up schedule. Thank you Habitat for recommending Hospice!
