A week ago I would have given this store 4, maybe even 5 stars. Today changed everything when I tried to exchange an item. I purchased a "Hampton Art" ink pad without knowing anything about stamping inks. When I tried it, the ink was watery and did not dry very well. It was only $5 so I got what I paid for. I went in to Jo-Ann today to exchange it for a better ink and make some additional purchases as well. (I used to shop here almost every week). I was informed that Jo-Ann does not do exchanges, only returns, which means that if something is opened, it cannot be returned. This is a HUGE corporation that has been around for a long time and I would guess makes a more than comfortable profit. Are they so big that they do not even care about taking care of their customers? They must have enough already. I will never shop at this chain again.

Im a male with zero knowledge of all things fabric related. I went in this afternoon to get some cloth and a pattern for my daughters sewing class at school. The people there were very nice, very helpful and knowledgeable about what was going on. They made sure I knew where the bargains were and even offered a discount coupon Id have known nothing about. Laurens review is right on point!

Stuff is usually friendly but one Cashier Suzanne is very rude, unfriendly and uninviting to certain customers. She doesnt know her stores refund policy or she makes up her own causing much inconvenience. I shop there often as well as many of my clients but we will not go there if she is there. Hope more stores open that sell sewing and crafts supplies.

This Joanns store is under new management and it shows! The place is gorgeously clean, the staff (even the seasoned ladies) are being held accountable for how they treat customers, and theyre getting better about staffing the store appropriately. Take it from this former member of JoAnns management... this store is shopable again!

My mother is a seamstress and has always loved going to Jo-Anns. Most of the time, they have everything she needs for her projects, whether it is for home or for work. I went along with her the other day to pick up a few things. Everyone who worked there was wonderful to deal with, and very helpful. Well definitely go back soon.

Friendly and helpful staff. Can always find a bargain, especially with the weekly coupons they send out. Theres a great selection of fabric, though those prices can run a little high. I can usually find pretty much anything I need for knitting, sewing, card-making, and other paper crafts here.

I love Joanns. Staff is always very helpful, i can always find the supplies i need. I prefer it to Michaels or Hobby Lobby, who stock their stores with a lot of useless kitsch and cheap, sub quality merchandise.

Great for fabrics, bad for yarn. They used to have one of the best yarn departments in the area, but now its very limited. I only go there for their "Big Twist" brand, the other stuff can be found anywhere

You can find almost anything here! If they dont have it in the store you can find it online. The selection of beautiful fabrics is great. I found exactly what I was looking for and it was on sale!
