Its amazing that the town is able to sustain an independent bookstore. I bring the kids in every year when we are at the beach and let them pick out books. Its a nice change of pace from the sand and ocean and pool. Bonus point: its right next to Corolla Village BBQ: IMO the best BBQ there is.
