Not as great as it was when it first opened. However, satisfied with meat/seafood department.....not overwhelmed with customer service though. Today, went to deli section for a sandwich, (pre-made). As the gentleman took my sandwich off the grill, he wiped his nose on the back of his gloved hand.....gross! I should have said never-mind, but it happened so fast! I rationalized that since he did not "officially" make my sandwich, Ill just pray harder than usual before I eat. LOL. Therefore, this is partially why this store leaves a bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended. LOL. Some may ask why I did not alert the manager. Well, thats a good question......since this caught me off guard, I chose that my voice would be heard better on the world-wide web where everyone can see, (including the manager). LOL. Moral - always use proper hygiene In the presence of a nurse.

The Fresh Market is such an awesome place to pick up a few items to make a special meal. With the smaller market atmosphere, and a store filled with carefully curated fresh fruit and veggies, excellent meat and seafood, a great deli with prepared foods, bakery, not to mention the excellent wine and beer selection... its got everything you need. I dont typically do a "big" shopping trip here when I need to restock the cupboards (it would be too expensive), but I always find everything I need and then some for a special recipe Im testing out or a quick meal idea. I love their free coffee tasting (who doesnt?) and they regularly offer wine tasting and product tastings. Its got a friendly, neighborhood feel and great selection. Highly recommend.

I would like to give a big shout out to STEPHEN (usually at the front of store)!!! I look forward to going to the FM at Strawberry Hill because of Stephen. Sometimes I even bypass other grocery stores because life isnt just about the food, but more about human interaction and appreciation. Stephen is a genuinely helpful person with a gentle and peaceful spirit. No matter what kind of day I have had, he is a peace in the storm of life by greeting me like I matter as a person. Yes, groceries are needed but those can be bought many places! Stephen, you make a difference in my day and my FM experience! Cheers to Stephen & FM Strawberry Hill!

I always love a visit to the Fresh Market. Unfortunately they were out of persimmons. But the main reason for low rating was a butcher Dept problem. I needed slab bacon to cut into lardons for a Brussels sprouts recipe. The butcher told me pork belly was same as slab bacon and offered to cut it. Didnt seem right but I trusted him. Got home and checked and learned thats incorrect, as pork belly is not smoked. Also, hed cubed it (sloppy cubes) instead of lardons. Fortunately I had some thick bacon from Costco at home and that worked Ok.

I was at The Fresh Market at Strawberry Hill in Charlotte. Alexander who works in the meat department is absolutely fabulous. However I had been calling this location all day long and nobody answers the phone. This is not the first time this has happened. I had called the location at the Promenade in Charlotte and kept getting put on hold and then getting disconnected. The Fresh Market needs to work on this this happens frequently

A wonderful grocery market like what youd think there were when they were family run. There are fresh meal deals, specials, and tastings on almost every day. They stock fresh and organic produce and while their prices can be a little high, theyre a great place to go when you need to make a family meal or grab a few things from the store.

Was at this market today and there was a big sign on the watermelons saying they were 2.99 but got to front and it rang up 5.00. Cashier went back to look and said Oh that sign was for yesterday only. She would not sell it to me for 2.99. Poor customer service. Will not go back. Will stick with my Harris Teeter.

I really enjoy shopping at Fresh market but the prices are pretty high. Buying meats on special is certainly worth noting and the deals are worth waiting for. The food tasting and events are fun but I catch them at random.aybe theres a social calendar that they post? Very nice employees and a relaxed atmosphere.

Ive been going to The Fresh Market ever since I was living in GA and was a little disappointed when I came here. The selection of the prepared food is limited and the store seems a little disorganized/not clean...but they do have frequent specials so thats a plus. Other than that..overall experience was okay.

Fresh Market is a breath of fresh air. Its a small, neighborhood-type store with a surprisingly broad offering.of good quality foods at reasonable prices. They generally have what customers need without the hassle of a regional supermarket, and generally it is well staffed with friendly, caring personnel.

They have the best deals for the big small meal deal. $20 feeds a family of 4 and is all in one place to grab and go. Comes with the recipe and is so much healthier than fast food for less money.

This is probably my favorite grocery store in Charlotte. Easy to get in and out. Great selection. Great place to go for semi-homemade dinners the day you are having a dinner party.

Great selection of meats and fish. However, I noticed it was more expensive than other fresh markets in the area. It has nice specials though.
